Everything in perfect shape and the space is well used. Comfortable bed and sleeping couch, air conditioning, table, small fridge, stove and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, very nice bathroom with shower and bidet (!).
And for extra rent a parking space at a good price!

The room was peaceful and quiet, beds (even the fold out) were comfortable - had a really good night's sleep! The location is just on the edge of the downtown area, already nearby there's plenty of shops and restaurants. The owners were easy to communicate with, easy access to building and apartment.
To be fair, we expected this and had no issues with it, as we only wanted sleep! This is not the only room they have in the building - writing this just to manage expectations of future visitors:
The room was in the back of a building, the windows look towards the stairs/skylight and the back of (the worlds tiniest ?) elevator. So the room is dark, not too many light fixtures or sockets. BUT...

Great location in the city center and easy to reach. Large room equipped with everything you need including washing machine. Very clean. Uncomplicated host: Keys could be picked up without personal contact (Covid-friendly).
Staircase and elevator are extremely tight because there is not much space in the city center of Triest. Windows of the apartment point to an interior patio but there is no natural light. However, the installed artificial lights in the apartment imitate extremely well natural light. Well done.

The appartement is located directly in the center of Triest with nice restaurants and streets nearby. Everything can be reached by walk. The appartement has enough place for 4 persons (2 separate sleeping rooms; one of them is the living room/kitchen) and dogs are kindly welcome. The kitchen equipment is sufficient for cooking for a family. Parkind direct in front of the appartment is not possible, but we always find a parking place. A perfect location for a visit of Triest and places around Triest.

Very good location, clean facilities, nice and clean kitchen and bathroom. Nice communication with the host by messages with a lot of significant directions and suggestions. Strongly recomend parking in the garage,streets are crowded (accommodation is in city centre).
Not really specious enough for the family of 4, but sufficient for one night stay.

The location is splendid - right in the centre of Trieste. Despite the central location, the apartment is very quiet due to the fact that it faces the courtyard. It was spotlessly clean. The wi-fi worked well.
We lacked some things: not enough toilet paper, no cutting board, no teaspoons. The oven door broke down and it was dangerous to walk to the bathroom at night because you could have easily harmed yourself.

Location Location Location was really good together with the cleanliness of the apartment.
The general aspect of the garret was very tired and little care spent with some details.
The two little windows are so little that you can hardly see lights coming thru and you always have to keep the lights switched on. Very little fresh air coming thru the 2 little windows. This is a garret, a top floor with low ceiling, hence is very hot on a summer day and the AC is available only in one room, the kitchen/sofa bed room, the bedroom doesn't have any air con and you must keep the AC on a lot longer turned on to have some cool air in the bedroom, not ideal when it's hot! There were 4 chairs but two were plastic foldable chairs and the other two were outdoor chairs, only 2 soup/pasta plates and we were in three, so not enough plates and we had to use the pan as third plate.

well and nicely equipped, good location near city centre
The location of the accommodation is perfect, it was very convenient to live in the city center, a 10-minute walk from the Unity of Italy Square and other attractions. Even though there is a restaurant in the building, it is not disturbing at all, the apartment is very quiet. We found the keys in a box. We didn't meet Rossella, the owner, but communication via the booking message board worked very well. The accommodation is very good value for money, The next time we travel to Trieste, we would love to stay here again. Trieste is a very pleasant city, with its wonderful buildings, the castle, the park around it, beautiful churches, the beach, the entire city can be explored on foot. We were sorry that it was not possible to see the opera house from the inside, and the tram leading to Opicina was not working, if we saw it right, the line is being renovated.
The apartment has very small windows, so it was a bit stuffy for us. The weather was nice, so we didn't spend much time in the accommodation, so the feeling of confinement was not disturbing. It's nice to have split air conditioning. The boiler is a bit loud when bathing. The sofa bed is not very comfortable, but it is not that terrible either. Unfortunately, we couldn't park in the garage, the street is very narrow, so is the garage entrance, and β because of the restaurant β there were many cars and motorcycles lined up on the side of the road, which prevented us from turning in, even though only delivery cars could park on the street... We stopped on the street while we packed, then luckily we found a free parking space on Crispi Road.

The living room is large and the kitchen well equipped. The host is kind and she didn't charge me extra fees for an additional guest that was added after the reservation. Wonderful stay!
Unfortunately, the wifi connection wasn't working. We texted the host and she offered to give us an external metered router. We didn't use it but we appreciated her kindness.

Trully nicely located. Very good price/quality ratio. The hotel owner provided the parking lot in the garage at a 50% off the regular price. (Take the elevator from the parking lot and find yourself directly by the ancient castle - impressive!) Easy check-in/out. Full support from the owner: advises on good places to eat, on local transportation, etc. Individual heating in the apartment: you can set the temperature that you personally like. The apartment is equipped with the furniture, kitchen, washing mashine, dishwasher, refrigerator, hair fan, etc.
All three windows look into the staircase with the elevator. So the apartment is, therefore, poorly lit. We stayed here in Winter and it felt as a drawback. I guess in Summer this would be an advantage.

Really clean apartment, with great facilities. Kitchen and fridge was very useful, super close to aldi for groceries. Host was really friendly and gave lots of recommendations for food and her response time was really speedy.
In our room the windows didnt open up to the outdoors, instead it opened up into the stairwell, the room was a bit stuffy becuase there was humid air coming in when we opened windows. But there was an air con which made the temperature more bearable.

Entire apartment. Great location in the heart of the city center surrounded by restaurants and stores. In addition, you can walk to the main tourist attractions. Possibility of paid parking within 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free wi-fi.
Area with a lot of traffic, quite difficult to navigate. The streets are very narrow and it is impossible to find parking nearby which made it extremely difficult to embark and disembark the luggage.

Not much, except for the location.
We had to contact the host to gain entry information instead of them notifying us on the day. Host contacted Booking.com saying we didn't pay, however it is up to the host to use credit card details held by them to take the payment automatically, which they did. So why cause the aggravation in contacting Booking.com.? Booking.com contacted us and apologised for the hosts mistake.
Also, don't park to unload luggage, we got fined for just stopping to unload. The host was quite rude to us when they were notified. Never again.

We couldn't close the door of the bathroom. Sliding doors aren't the best option, but that's really the only thing that we didn't like.

There is option to leave your car in a parkhouse nearby for additional fee/not so high/, I would suggest to take it, coz almost impossible to park close to the apartment on the very narrow streets which are anyway full.
The internet hotspot was not working well. In every minute it was disconnected, so it was like we had no wifi at all.

great location, nice apartment, spatious, equipped kitchen, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, wifi mostly worked fine (the first 15 minutes or so it kept turning off, but then it resolved on it's own), no problems with check in
some power outlets didn't work, tv didn't work (the host said it was not their fault, that it was the building's antenna - sure), but the worst of all was the lack of heating. I was freezing, I literally wore gloves and a hat inside. there was no water pressure in the boiler, so I wrote to the host and soon someone came to fix it (I appreciate that they did). the guy spent half an hour in the apartment fixing the water pressure and changing batteries and when he was finished the heating didn't start and he just started saying goodbye. I tried to ask him if the heating would start now, but he just left. I was quite perplexed. it didn't start. and the female host wrote that we shouldn't try to start the heating on our own, because it's not user friendly. we tried to figure out how to start it and the unit said it was apparently 22 degrees centigrade, but there is no way that that's true. unfortunately I don't travel with a thermometer to test it.
and then the cherry on top was a concert somewhere in the building across, which was so loud that there was no way to sleep and which ended at 11 p.m.

The location was good and the food recommendations I received from the host were helpful as well.
Free parking was only available in the late evening with a lot of luck, so saying "free parking is available" is a bit of a scam. The host didn't contact me as stated on the booking page, but I had to contact her. The payment and some other fee were deducted from my bank account without any notice or payment confirmation, although the booking page said payment was to be done in cash at the property. Parts of the shower kept falling off, so the shower head could not be hung. Since the room was under the Roof, the ceiling was low and mostly slopes. My partner is quite tall, so that would have been good to know in advance.
