I liked the room, the bed was big and comfortable, pillows as well, I really slept well. Saunas and pool are nice and peaceful with posibility to make yourself a tea or grab a glass of water.

I didnt like the new breakfast policy: you have to pay 10 euros extra if you want scrambled, soft boiled, sunny side up, bacon or sausage for breakfast. The other stuff for breakfast are included in the price of the room with breakfast.

The spa facilities are spacious and well run. Turkish and Finnish sauna, rest area, a pool you can swim in. Cleanliness is top notch. It's a lovely building, well kept. Parking is great, too. Breakfast is self service and reasonably well stocked with cold options and a toast maker. Would recommend.

It was a bit cold in the room and we didn't seem to be able to get it warmer with the termostat. The large double bed was actually two singles and they were sliding apart.

Gym and sauna excellent, staff helpful and pleasant.

At the very least: no kettle, tea or coffee in the rooms, and little in the way of the same to be had nearby.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, really great service. The family room (two rooms with connecting door) was tidy and nicely furnished especially enjoyable was the terrace with a beautiful view. The wellness area although inconvenient opening hours, was clean and well equipped, also nice and welcoming staff. It is not in located in the city center, but there is a bus station right outside.

Its advertised as a 5 star hotel, which I think is not quite up to date, the rooms are nice but a little worn- which can clearly be seen, for example in the bathrooms facilities or loose handles, stains on the curtains or on the wall, there was an old beer can on our balcony and the floor looked as though no one had taken care of it for quite some time. There for I think its a little too pricey- pool is only open 4 hours (4-8pm). Breakfast was ok, but really not exceptional, or what I am used to from a 5 star hotel.

Good location, very friendly staff, good parking, dog friendly. Employees there are very polite and helpful.

Air conditioning wasn't working, rooms should be totally renovated, everything is destroyed, furniture and scrapped curtains... Definitely not a 5* I would give max 3* or even less.

Absolutely wonderful staff - kind, friendly and helpful. The location is also great and the breakfast spread was impressive. I also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool - very fresh!

This is simply not a 5-star hotel. Maybe it was in 1995, but not anymore. The air-conditioning never got the room temperature below 25C (each room has a thermometer) and I had to change room twice to a non sea-facing room to get away from the sun. Then when I went to shower at 9:30 one day there was no hot water - only just tepid. Obviously the other guests had used it all.

It is a very nice hotel very well located just a 5 minute walk to the entrance to the Barcola promenade for swimming. The staff was exceptionally nice! Everyone with whom we interacted was helpful and friendly. The brunch was really lovely - the food was very good and many choices. The dining room is on the 4th floor, and we sat on the terrace with a beautiful view of the bay.

There wasnt anything about the propert itself that we didnt like. Getting into the city - Trieste - was a little difficult. At the time we wanted to go in for dinner, the bus was absolutely full of people coming from the beach. But the staff at the hotel called a taxi for us which solved the problem (there were not many taxis coming by). This was in 2nd weekend of September - end of season. Most likely later in the month the bus would not have been impacted.

It's a three star hotel. Ranking is misleading, price ratio not favorable. It's easy to find better for same price or cheaper for price asked.

We had a massage, which was good and the lady was very nice. The first receptionist could speak over 5 languages and was lovely. The view from the breakfast room on the 4th floor was great.

Women are either ignored or treated with contempt. Completely ignored at breakfast, because husband wasn't with me. Room key stopped working, and receptionist sighed and tutted and complained about having to code a new one. The bed is old and squishy. The sauna didn't work, just the steam bath. The walls are thin, you can hear the neighbours. The worst part was when we were woken up by a construction site in the hall and the room next door. They don't care about guests. They just want your money and don't care if you never come back.
