About Okum Alfa
Okum Alfa sits in tropical Lagos State, Nigeria, where market streets, coastal escapes and Yoruba art give the city an energetic urban identity.
Market energy, late-night music and coastal air give Okum Alfa a distinctly Lagos feel. Lekki Conservation Centre and Nike Art Gallery anchor the Lekki area, while Victoria Island carries the city’s nightlife and Freedom Park adds a cultural stop on Lagos Island.
Street stalls and neighborhood kitchens serve jollof rice, suya, akara and pounded yam with egusi soup. The main travel season runs from November through February, and two to five days covers the city’s food, art and shoreline highlights.
