When we brought this up to the reception they told us it was our problem, that it was just "the way the room is called". They didn't want to switch us to a room that fit the description, which I would consider fraudulent. What a joke. Also only one person was responsible for reception and maintenance, which meant that there were issues to fix they couldn't undertake.

We decided to pick a smaller beach town and this hotel was the center of it! Rooftop lounge with amazing drinks and ice cream in lobby was the best!! Our balcony faced the waterfront. Good breakfast and the staff were nice. They gave us a list of recommended restaurants and turned out delicious. They also had parking in the back and perfect size pool. I would definitely come back here.

The propert was very nice and everything I needed was there in one spot . The pool was great with lawn chairs and a little snack and drink dispenser was awesome to have . Loved the way the property was located right close to beach with all the stores and Resturante’s close by . The property even had a coffee or I cream place that you could order and sit on some chairs in side while enjoying your gelato . The beds were the most comfortable beds ive ever laid on .i presume that they are new . The champagne and fruit welcome package was definely a surprise . Loved looking out the window everyday something was going on . The breakfast was absolutely delicious fresh squeezed orange juice every morning , presunto , natas cheeses and pancakes and many other choices were so delicious . The service from the front reception was beyond 10/10 I was very impressed with the high standard of quality customer service that they all had . Gotta say one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed in !!!

The location is nice except for the noise. There didn't seem to be much available on Booking.com so we were hoping the view would be good, and it was okay but higher up would have been better.
The hotel is very centrally located which makes is noisy, which was not overwhelming except when the township decided to have a DJ play until midnight one of the nights which was crazy loud. It's a little town with limited capacity so this seems dumb by the town especially when there are several other options for the partiers in the Algarve. If they'd ended it at 11 it would have been much easier to deal with.
We also had some strange persistent banging noise in our room one night which did get resolved but took a while.
The staff were mostly very nice but when it came to any noise they kind of blamed it on us for booking a centrally located hotel but since they are a business you'd think they would have some sway over the town's choice to put a rock concert level loud DJ on a stage until midnight.
The banging noise response also took some pushing on our part for them to do anything about it.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was very convenient to restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was good. The staff paid attention to detail and our room and bathroom were clean. I definitely would like to return.
I think the only inconvenience was there were no shelves in the bathroom to sit toiletries on, like toothpaste or mouthwash. We also did not receive washcloths, but maybe they don't use them. Other than that, everything was great. I loved the shower and the water pressure.

Location staff breakfast
Booked 3 weeks in advance. Requested quiet location. We had a street level room that was noisy and had no privacy They offered to upgrade us for 70 Euros more per night. As we were talking with the front desk a woman walked in and asked if they had a room in a quiet location. They offered her one at the same price we were paying with an advance booking.

Great location footsteps from the beach. Best breakfast we’ve had on our entire trip. Considerate staff. Pool on property. Windows block out most of the street noise. Gelato store on the property. Many good restaurants nearby.

Great location in the heart of the town. Super comfortable bed and very clean room! Lots of lively activity out front of our room facing the sea and square, restaurants, nightlife, disco, but very quiet and soundproofed with the balcony door closed; we slept great! Super friendly staff and a really nice, rooftop bar with a chill vibe. Pool was very clean and well maintained although the water was a bit cold if you're sensitive to that (fine for me). Also a great breakfast buffet with lots of options including hot items like scrambled/fried eggs, meats, pastries, fresh fruits, cheeses, charcuterie and fresh squeezed orange juice! We had an excellent stay at this hotel!
Some very minor things like the property itself is bit dated, key card for power and lights, bathroom fixtures requiring some maintenance, etc, but nothing that made our stay bad Also the outside AC compressor is on the balcony but we simply shut it off when we were out there. Overall we had a wonderful stay here!

Great location, though a little noisy at night, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast buffet.
The elevator malfunctioned on our arrival with 2 of our group stuck inside. Staff called for service, but did nothing to help—after 35 minutes we managed to get the doors opened with help from several other guests. Happened again the day we left. No warning signs, no help from staff, and had to carry luggage upstairs (we are all seniors and needed the elevator)!

Staff was very helpful with parking.

This was the Algarve at its best! We had a balcony room with an Ocean View which was great! This was the only time in our two week trip that we just settled in for a few days and it was worth it. The beach was steps away and was close to all the activities as far as going to all the sea caves. The breakfast was also great each morning we were there.

The breakfast and kitchen staff welcomed us each morning and went above and beyond to look after us.
We experienced a leaky roof but the staff got right on it and our comfort was a concern

The room was nice, clean and comfortable bed! The breakfast was very good! The location was great, the beach literally across the way. It is at the lower level, so you don't have to walk uphill to it. The rooftop bar is wonderful, go see at night! We went in late Nov, so the town was very quiet and some shops were closed. I highly recommend staying here and doing a boat tour to the caves! Also, be sure to walk up to the oceanside boardwalk, a must do. There are paths around the cliffs, wear proper shoes and check them out!

Situated right on the main square, next to the beach and several restaurants that were open despite the Christmas holidays. Bath tub was great for warming up after a couple rainy, cool days. Main bed was comfortable and heating made a huge difference due to the December weather.
Bathroom is very small, difficult to get in and out of the tub/shower. No ven/fan made everything damp (to be fair, we didn't find any venting in any of our accommodations in Portugal). Pop up bed provided for our 15 yr old was very uncomfortable: low height, very thin mattress.

Amazing location, right by the beach. Walking distance to the town and restaurants and sites. Staff was exceptional. Everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful with info and recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety. I stayed here specifically to hike the Seven Hanging Valleys. Was a good walk to the trailhead, just be prepared for lots of stairs and trails. Beautiful town

Great location in the main area looking out on the ocean off to the side. It was surprisingly quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable, there was a good selection of movie/TV stations, all of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely incredible (wide variety of fresh fruit and cheeses, breads, rolls, croissants, pastries, variety of coffees, fresh, orange juice, yogurt, cereal, scrambled and poached egg, vegetable dish, Portuguese bacon and sausage, pancakes, and more)
The heating/air-conditioning was a bit noisy and the shower drain was very slow so we had to be careful that it didn’t overflow.

The location was excellent! Walking distance to everything. Just note that since it’s central, it can be noisy. We visited not knowing it would be Carnaval and we love the vibe! This was honestly a perfect place to stay! It isn’t the nicest place you’ll stay but it was perfect for our 2-nights! It is RIGHT on the beach which was really fun and convenient! The room was comfortable and clean. We both took a LONG, hot shower to wash all the sand off from the beach and we didn’t run out of hot water which was happy! And then included breakfast was great! Lots of yummy options! And the staff members were very helpful and kind when we had a few questions. There is no view of the beach from the hotel but as you’d rather just be AT the beach that was okay!

We had a sea view balcony and at times noise from the street (motorcycles engines) was excessive but we just closed balcony doors . This didn’t prevent us from enjoying the sea view balcony.

The location was absolutely perfect! We were Traveling with small children and were able to walk the cliffs, visit the pirate ship playground nearby, walk on the sand, eat and shop easily. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff was lovely and helpful.
We have no regrets about this booking.
