Great location, right on the beach. Beautiful views from the window, big balcony, the pool is really fantastic (used indoors as in November it was a bit cold)
Charging for using SAFE in the room is absolute joke for the hotel which advertises themselves as 4 star! also the fact that you have to walk to the reception, get magnetic chip and pay deposit for it. Hotel is aged - but that didn't really bother us, but the mattresses surely could do with replacing.

Based on my experience I was not happy to easy access to my room because of the room card key does have magnetic and when you put your next to Credit card or Phone auto non-activated!
And it’s been several time I have to go to the reception for update the room card key.
This experience is not good for guests as well as for the receptionist!
Please change it!

We stayed at the hotel during November and paid for half broad, I would have preferred a better choice of dinner menu has no buffet was provided. Breakfast was the same every day.

The building and the original furniture are beautiful, but IKEA paper lamp shades should be avoided. The same happens with the plastic chairs in the room balcony.

Scrambled eggs were diabolical, mould in the barhroom that just needed some attention, and the toilet seat was falling off, the bathroom door was also close to impossible to open and needs maintenance to sort it out.

The address advertised in here is wrong, could not find the reception to check in and had to ask a hotel guest and he took me to the 9th floor lobby to check in. The lobby is only accessible through carpark at the rear. Ironically the receptionist admitted the address error in here but the least the could do is to DM guest about it.

The staff was extremely accommodating and kind, the facilities were wonderful, and the grounds were beautiful. The location is calm and serene! Great place if you want to enjoy the soft splashing of waves from your balcony while enjoying the morning sun.
The beds were very hard and might need to be changed, and there was no ramp from the reception to the restaurant, making it difficult for us to get our baby pram up and down the stairs. There is a handicap elevator seat that takes anyone in a wheelchair up and down, though!

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach. The room has a great balcony with sea view, and you can easily catch some sun and relax. It's an amazing place!
I believe the spa could be a bit better. The Turkish bath is very good, and the pool also great. But it is missing a Jacuzzi and maybe other spa elements. The hotel could use some remodeling, although it's pretty decent. It's probably from the 70's and never had any updates.

there was no way to wash sand off my feet after swimming and being on the beach - had to walk through the hotel with sandy feet!

As so often, clients fall between the cracks of Booking.com and hotels. If Booking tells me I should contact the hotel to change the dates of my reservation, and the hotel replies I first need to contact Booking, something is deeply wrong. And as I was reconvalescent, just out of the hospital, that silly game was annoying to say the least. Almost as annoying is the 25 EUR charge for an hour of late checkout. After paying 340 EUR for 2 nights, and having had to change rooms due to inexplicable noise in the building, all of this was quite disappointing.

Location good for beach and restaurants. Anna at front desk was smart, pleasant, efficient and welcoming. As was the bartender (handsome tall dark man). He was informative and attentive. Very good at his job. The breakfast manager was efficient, had too many employees and kept the terrible food in order. Was welcoming to the guests. The room was nice and large. Hotel has large windows overlooking the ocean. They thought well to put in several seating areas on the inside. The pool lounges were very comfortable, the pool very cold.
Most staff seems unhappy. Uper management usually to blame for this. Our room refrigerator smelled as though it had previously stored rotten meat. Had not been cleaned or something might have leaked out and went underneath the furniture. The bed was rock hard but somehow comfortable. The water view was obstructed with overrun foliage. The hotel is HUGE and has 3 elevators that go to different wings. You must take 3 different elevators to go to the street and ocean. The processed cheese and meat at breakfast got old as did the British fair. All in all a good free breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet was good but overpriced. Hotel has large windows overlooking the ocean.

We enjoyed the view to the sea, the convenience of being able to walk to around the area, and I discovered the toasting machine which made the breakfast much better for me. I look forwarding to staying with you again in the future.
The windows had an odd cloudiness to them making it difficult to see the view to the sea. And, the carpet need attention to remove the stains.

Nice view, good staff, nice balcony, great breakfast.
The air condition is unable to cool the room well. The bed was the hardest we have had ever, I think. We did not get parking as offered.

Large hotel on boulevard of Sesimbra, with outdoor and indoor pools. It’s a large complex and a bit hard to navigate. Breakfast busy but decent. Rooms comforts but also dated, bathrooms need updating.
