Old chipped furniture, scratched bedside tables and bed bases, very worn bathroom taps and with missing parts, torn wallpaper in some areas, wind blowing through the windows, the same old curtains, the same old TVs in the room that are more than 10 years old, overused coffee machines that only work randomly, outdated elevators and room access card system and so on. Ramada Sibiu is no longer what it used to be, it's just a name/brand that the company no longer invests in. This review comes after my second stay here in 2 years and nothing has changed so I can conclude a total lack of respect for the accommodation conditions for tourists at high prices. Before staying here I stayed at Mercure Sibiu which is at an impressively higher level.
The feeling is of great disappointment so I will take alternative options for my the next trips to Sibiu and avoid Ramada.

Hello. I like the location and the acomodation,and the minibar. The most important part is the staff being respectful and noticeable about to improve some wish regarding de breakfast buffet. Many years ago i went to the breakfast and i notice that there are no Romanian cheese like Telemea which is very important in Sibiu district and near the city. Since from that time on i requested to put some Telemea from Sibiu,the staff notice my wish and they put now 3 types of Romanian Cheese. Well done from management and the staff. The little things make the difference!???All the best to you! I will be back every time with pleasure to you în Ramada Hotel Sibiu.???
Maybe in the future you change the leathers above the bed and the bedside.

Location is super convenient; there are all kinds of (paid) parking options; happy to report a bathroom update in the Junior Suite; the staff is just so kind and helpful, especially the front desk; the room is large and has a great view.

The hotel is starting to show it's age a little - the fawcets in the bathroom/shower weren't working properly (you could not switch between tub fawcet and shower head - both were always on, apparently as a workaround); also, the air condioning wasn't cooling the room properly - it was hot with 22 degrees outside and the default setpoint appeares to be around 27-28 degrees. The noise level is relatively high, due to the hotel being in the busy city center traffic with large glass panels as windows.

My son and I had an excellent experience at Ramada Sibiu. Hotel personnel are very supportive and customer oriented. We've been helped by Dragoș with a room upgrade for free at the 12th floor as my son is eager to use the elevators in general. We also needed a late check-out and Dragos was very nice to support with that too. Breakfast is diverse and tasty. The room was clean and had a nice view.

Mr Dragos at the front desk was very nice and professional. It was a very pleasant check in process. The breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel is very good. Short distance to downtown. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and we had a great night sleep!

Great location — close to all the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly, and parking (paid) was easy to access. The room was comfortable and the bathroom inside was clean and modern. The only downside was that the shared/outdoor bathroom facilities weren’t very clean. Otherwise, everything was great!
Lobby bathroom wasnt too clean, paid parking also but its not that bad...

Had to have rom keys replaced frequently. For some reason after housekeeping came to room both our keys stopped working even though they were kept separately. This happened every day. Had to have separate keys to get to gym. My partner smokes and there is no seating in the smoking area.

The location was good and there was parking. Most of the staff were nice. The room was clean.
The food and drinks were bad: dry chicken, raw potatoes, and an irish coffee that had ice in it but nothing sweet. The shower screen let water through into the bathroom which had no drainage. Poor value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Sibiu Hotel. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, I fell ill during my trip, but the staff was incredibly helpful and promptly cleaned my room, which made a huge difference. The hotel's location had easy access to the beautiful Piața Mare. Both the hotel and my room were spotlessly clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The staff was also very helpful in getting us addresses so we could enter the information correctly into Uber. They supplied us with bathrobes and slippers.
While my stay at the Ramada Sibiu Hotel had many positives, there were a couple of issues worth noting. The room we stayed in had a shower/tub combo, but the tub was quite high, making it challenging for an elderly couple like us to step into safely. Additionally, the glass shower doors leaked, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor, which created a slippery and inconvenient situation. These aspects could be improved for a more comfortable experience.

We had a room at the 9th floor with city view - this was a nice plus. Everything was clean and there were a lot of amenities (such as slippers). The breakfast was more than what I expected, with a lot of food and everything was fresh and tasty.
I don't like this new trend with transparent/glass door to the bathroom. There is no need for such thing and I can't imagine that any of the guests have ever asked for this. The same applies to the transparent/glass portion of the wall between the bathroom and the sleeping room. However, beyond all of these personal takes, our bathroom door didn't close properly because it was crooked and it hit the lower part of the wooden frame.

Nice location, very clean and comfortable room. Also the hotel has a car park which was convenient. The breakfast was good, also the food in the restaurant
The staff from Sri Lanka were much more friendly and smiled more often than the Romanian staff. The first night I didn't see anybody in the restaurant; the second night, the guy from Sri Lanka at the bar made sure I had a seat, otherwise I'd go somewhere else as the first night. If you fix the manners of the staff from Romania would be great.

The staff from the reception - always really nice.
The size of the room is good.
The external elevators offer a nice view of the town, although it may be a little challenging to catch any during the breakfast hours.
This is not meant as a complaint, but as feedback for possible improvement: The fridge is connected to the room key card, so it stops when you leave, making the minibar impractical, as drinks are warm when you return. Housekeeping removed the spare card we left in the slot, and cleaning was superficial (no vacuuming). We ended up using “do not disturb” to keep the fridge working.

The first night I had dinner at their restaurant and I felt bad all night. One day after they cleaned the room was smelling very bad and I had to keep the windows open. There was a football team that stayed at the hotel and their fans were making a lot of noise in front of the hotel and their staff said that is the situation and we have to accept it. The main reason for the score is the attitude of the staff, always pushing back instead of looking into issues. Still some room for improvement for bathrooms.
