if you can deal with the continuous noise from traffic , other guests voices , phone ringers , room door alarms and noise from anyone talking in the corridor then the beds are comfortable and it has a bath and shower.

The hotel room had long black hair in the bathroom. I expected the basement to be quiet, but the room had ventilator to the main road, so I was not able to sleep due to multiple issues , 1/ The traffic from the outside road was similar to sleeping beside a major highway with the window open ( this room did not have a window bug the ventilation was the same effect as an open window )2/ ever sound in the corridor was heard in my bedroom wether slamming doors which happened at 2 am when a family checked in to 3 rooms on the same floor and proceeded to have a running conversation between rooms using the corridor , while this is out of control of the hotel , my request to change rooms was denied , m request to ask the new guests to leave if they did not stop was ignored. The design of the hallway and the ventilation is the fault of the hotel. 3/My door along with all the other rooms on the floor failed to close fully setting off multiple alarms in the door locks at various times of the night and day sounding similar to an alarm clock. 4/ telephone rings even musical rings could be heard in my room from other rooms and the corridor. 5/ conversations in other rooms could be heard in my room. totally unacceptable stay and response to my request to change room.

The Rest Bugis Hotel was in the centre of town, in the popular Bugis St area, which was a hive of activity. The room was very small, which seems to be common in Singapore. It was great to be able to walk out the door into an area alive with shops and places to eat.

The small room but it was good value for money given we were in the centre of the city.

The location - we loved the neighborhood. After a couple of days in the middle of Singapore's skyscrapers it was nice to move to this area. There are many nice restaurants and shops around and it's a 10 min walk to the MRT. It was very hot so the swimming pool felt good after a long day of walking around.

You can see that the hotel is old and it needs a bit of renovation. No breakfast or other food available in the hotel.

The bed was large and the room had a good view, especially in the morning! The hotel had a pool which was clean and accessible Staff were extremely polite and helpful. They lent me an umbrella when it was raining and let me store my luggage there after the checkout time.

Was woken by prayer at the nearby mosque in the early morning but it was only for a short while and the otherwise great location made it worth it. There wasn't any breakfast.

Friendly and polite staff. Cleanliness. Location.

I booked a family room with three beds. The first bed was decent, but the other two were unsatisfactory. The mattresses were so thin that they caused soreness by dawn. The shower and tub also had a problem. The drain was so slow that I had to wait several minutes for the water to clear. A hotel utility guy attempted to repair it, but he claimed it was a plumbing issue and that it was beyond his ability to fix.

Easy to find. Reasonable walking distance from MRT. Great spot for food. Enjoyed xgimi projector and love the digital hot shower so easy to quickly set temperature! Very comfortable bed and for me the room and bathroom were more spacious compared to some well known hotel chains I had stayed in the past.

I got a room without any lift. But I did have a nice sized window. But it can be a bit noisy from loading/ unloading activity happening in evening or morning.

The staff were super friendly, and the location was central to various locations of interest and 2 MRT stations. Bed was very firm but comfortable. Nice modern shower head.

Be aware the photos are not exactly what you get. I paid extra for Deluxe & was put in Superior. Only after I repeatedly complained they moved me to a Deluxe. Both the two pool side chairs are damaged. Pool closes at 7pm which is too early in my opinion if you're out & about. The rooms are NOT soundproof as described. They do NOT provide a robe & drying rack as advertised. Handtowels & facecloths are not provided. The room safe is NOT bolted in so anyone could literally walk away with the safe. I bought this to their attention and was told all rooms were like that. The aircon filter was filthy and needed a clean & showed that message on the screen. In my opinion the room was much smaller than described.
