The location was perfect. The facilities and staff were great.

Some of the taxi drivers they call for you try to scam you. They claim the meter isn't working and quote you an outrageous amount. They once quoted me 200baht to go to the mall. I gave him 100 only, but on the way back, it was like 80. Make sure your taxi always uses the meter. Otherwise, take another one. The metered fare will always be less than what they quote you.

when we ordered food for in room dinner and I wanted to leave the tips for the girl who brought the food, I was going to write down how much money I want to add for her tip in the bill and she literally took my hand away and said: coin coin, meaning that I need to give her her tips in cash and second moment we ordered a taxi to the airport from a concierge at the door and he asked if its ok if the price would be 600 or 800 (though basic cost is about 300 max), I dont remember actual price I just know that it was 2,2 times higher than usual price but he said that the car would be good and when we came downstairs of course it was just basic taxi and we were in a rush so I didnt have time to argue about the price.

First day arrived the lobby, it was so impressed of the staff, the doorman was so friendly, welcome drink also provided. and every staff was so welcome us. The decoration of lobby is modern, feel very refreshing! we booked deluxe room included breakfast, the breakfast was value for money, so many choices to choose. reasonable quantity of customers dine in the coffee shop, you really enjoyed the breakfast. Hotel room is spacious and clean, the king bed is so comfortable!!!!! The location is very convenient, take 2 more station MRT will be in Siam. Outside of hotel, there has so many authentic Japanese restaurants, we tried Nan-tei yakitori restaurant, it was so delicious. Night market just in front of the hotel, starting at 6pm every night. 10 mins walking distance to few shopping malls. small pharmacy, boots, etc you can find every single street, one big Jim Thompson shop also located there. So overall for my experience, hotel is value for the money, they provide high quality of service, I definitely will stay here again.

it seems just 6 chairs for enjoy the pool was not enough, my husband want to enjoy suntan in the afternoon around 3pm, but no more chair for him. he went back to the hotel room. It is better provide more chairs for swimming pool.

Excellent location, the staff were amazing, attentive, fabulous genuine service and care for their guests. The Hotel manager, Pierre-Andre was visible and attentive. The front of house, meet and greet guy was so cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic. A very warm welcome was always received at reception. The hotel was spotless, we returned again after a trip to Krabi. We stayed on the 15th & 16th floor and the view and rooms were lovely. The pool was lovely to relax after a long day. There were problems with getting a refund as I was checking out one day early, despite emailing them well in advance and there are only a handful of sunbeds at the pool despite space for 3x that. Never got to use the pool area once in 4 days.

It was strange to see a number of people with face-lift bandages at breakfast and around the hotel. Not the sort of thing I like to expose my young teenage daughters to.

Recent renovation is really spectacular and the lobby/ bar/ breakfast area is delightful big open spaces and beautifully decorated. The staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast had a great range of options including western/ asian dishes, all delicious and could be made to order. Coffee not so great however for a five star hotel.

The aircon in our room never seemed to fall below 24 deg, no matter where we set it and how long we waited. The terrestrial TV had a poor connection so would break off, making it unwatchable. Sadly the TVs are Samsung so you cant cast to them to watch your own shows if you dont have a Samsung phone (which we did not). Eventually we were given a new room but the same issues were had in this one, albeit a little cooler (aircon reaching 23 deg at lowest)

We were on 9/F but the water pressure in the shower is not strong enough The hygiene of the bathroom when we checked in can be improved (stains on toilet seats and a tiny spot of blood on the bath towel) But the house cleaning from next day onwards was improved Kids saw a rat ran across the restaurant when we had breakfast and immediately told the staff

Charming building with beautiful decor in the lobby area. Rooms renovated fully , bright and with a nice character . The General manager would greet you personally at breakfast , very hospitable. Nice size gym for exercise and a friendly doorman with a big smile to greet you and help you start your day.

One of the best hotels I have stayed so far. The care for details, the excellent breakfast, the wonderful bed and linen, the lights... and most of all the welcoming attitude of each staff member. In addition, a personalized welcome and follow-up by the hotel manager.

The only negative side is the air conditioning which is too high for me and my family. Luckily, the system is completely independent for each room, so you can adapt it to your needs.

Fantastic location in Silom. Obviously just refurbished (and some bits left out like the pool area).

The windows were extremely dirty really need to be cleaned. Obviously recently refurbished however some form over function oversights (ie a brilliant toilet and a remote that makes sense to no one even thais), a new marble sink in the lavatory right next to the toilet so you slam your head, and ambient lights that cant be turned off right next to the bedroom (we tried all 900 switches, had to cover with a sock) and a toilet door that locks itself from the outside. Small annoying things that make the guest experience frustrating instead of enjoyable.

We (husband, wife and 3 year old son) had gone for a vacation from the 2nd till the 7th of September 2023. From the moment we checked in to the hotel, we experienced top class service first, from the wonderfully cheerful elderly doorman dressed in traditional Thai attire at the main hotel entrance door who was on duty on the 2nd of September when we checked in. My 3 year old son enjoyed speaking and playing with this cheerful man. Secondly, from Numthep at the reception. It was my birthday and she went the extra mile by sending me a birthday cake to my room and also ensured a smooth check in process. At the Ruenton Restaurant, the food quality was excellent and there was yet another display of top class service by Ning and Kae. Ning remembered my specific tea order every morning and also my husband's coffee order and would have them ready when we sat at our table. Kae also went the extra mile in providing top class customer service. Also, a very pretty and talented Thai lady plays a traditional Thai instrument in the hotel lobby in the evening. Very decent sized swimming pool and good gym on the 3rd floor. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday made even better with amazing staff and service.
