The parking and the swimming facilities
The rooms were old and in need of updating.
Swimming pool needs an uplift and one staffing at reception. We had to wait for atleast 20min before we were seen so we can collect towels.

The reception and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The entrance area is beautiful and dinner and tasty. Breakfast was very limited they didn't even have fried eggs and no staff were about to ask for help.
Don't come here for the leisure facilities, the pool is used for swimming lessons even on a Saturday afternoon, they don't prioritise hotel guests for the pool, so you may not even get in, as it's a roughly 10ft by 30ft pool so tiny and they only let 22 people in the area. The reception staff member on duty, was appalling, he forgot to give us a towel, and key for the lockers, he forgot to sign in two of my friends on holiday with us, he didn't tell them they had to! I had to go back out to the reception in my swimming costume to find a towel which I found uncomfortable! And then the towel given was so tiny I couldn't wrap it around myself. The changing rooms were dirty, and had no privacy. The steam room had no essential oils added to the steam (every other hotel I have been to has this) so the steam just smelt damp and stale. I got out of there as fast as I could and was very disappointed as I had booked the hotel for my group of friends partly so we could use the pool spa facilities.

Extra bed for my daughter was very uncomfortable, she could feel the springs through the mattress and main bed very hard. (Personal preference)

The property was fairly ok.
But my breakfast experience was terrible. I paid for breakfast but when I got to the breakfast section during the hotel’s breakfast serving time, most of the food was finished. I just wanted scrambled eggs and hash brown but none was available. The staff had an attitude that communicated they were unwilling to help. I asked at the kitchen and I waited about 45 minutes to get a very poorly made scrambled eggs with no has brown, asked again then waited some more only to just sit down to eat and be told by another staff that I had to leave, they were closing. The staff did not pay attention to the fact that I’d been waiting a while for the food.
Some of the breakfast staff were disrespectful and rude. Apparently, they claim they had lots of guests during that weekend, I’m not sure why that was my problem rather than the hotel management’s. I was even more disappointed at the lack of acknowledgment and taking responsibility for the hotel’s wrong.
I paid for breakfast and I expected to get breakfast not to be told that they had too many people who ate too much food that’s why I couldn’t have breakfast. How am I responsible for the hotel’s management’s booking and planning for their guests. My husband and I weren’t only treated badly but were disrespected and that was disgraceful of the hotel.

Very poor evening meal with an hour and a half wait. Poor substitute for nespresso pods in room and awful coffee in breakfast restaurant. No water bottle in room and meagre selection of tea which didn't seem to of been replenished.

We were greeted by Beverley, who was very friendly and helpful. She gave us an upgrade of room which was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious with a good TV and air con. The bathroom was a good size and both rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice, a good selection of food was available on our first morning.
On Sunday and Monday mornings they ran out of lots of the food, such as pastries and cooked eggs. My husband wanted crumpets but they were all gone and no more appeared. Milk ran out for cereal and coffees too.
Having to drive all the way around the hotel was a bit of a drag. I appreciate that this may reduce traffic but it's a long way round and tedious.

I had disabled access room which I booked by mistake but was not a problem.lovely bedroom and very large bed everything I needed.The bathroom by my standards was not good very dusty especially chrome fittings and floor and a smelly shower curtain overall the bathroom didn't seem very fresh which is very important. No shelves in bathroom to put anything on which is important for disabled room.
I would definitely stay again but not in that room.Overall very nice hotel just a bit disappointed in bathroom.All the staff were most helpful and welcoming yours Shirley mitchell

* I checked in late at around 10:00pm and booked a room on the understanding from my confirmation email and that room service was available 24 hours a day. I was informed upon checking in that the kitchen was closed and only cold sandwiches were available. The room service menu on the TV said hot food was available too...
* The self-service shop is extortionate.
* The bathroom smelled of damp (no extractor fan or window)
* The duvet cover was as thin as a sheet of paper and the bed was also lumpy.

Ill prepared. The busiest day with take that in town and not al all prepared. People still at the end of a long line queueing out the door to check in at 4.15. Doors opened 5pm at concert. I've been to basic hotels who are prepared and are checking people in down the queue on hand sets. Promoting hilton honor to check in digitally but it doesn't work. Only one hand and bath towel for 2 of us. Check in late so didn't notice till the morning. No plastic toothbrush beaker. Nearly twisted my neck trying to swill under a badly placed tap. Clearly rushed the room change over. Poor front of house staff, poor English speaking. Had to seek out cutlery for our meal. Also did the same to another couple so clearly not learnt after forgetting ours. Breakfast ok, orange juice is either watered down or very cheap, rubbery eggs, latte out machine is just like warm milk with barely any coffee. I disliked the hash browns but that may be just my personal taste. There's better places to stay I'm sure.

It was not far from the motorway, was 2.8 miles from the Arena which we walked. The hotel was nicely decorated and the room was spacious, clean and aired, the bed was comfortable, loved the shower. We would stay again
Wished we were reminded that we had breakfast booked when checking in but that really didn't stop us from enjoying our stay ad we would stay there again

The hotel exceeded our expectations.
The room was so spacious and comfortable, the pool area was a lovely facility with really friendly, helpful staff and the hotel restaurant served good, fresh food.
We'd be very happy to stay again.
Paying for parking. You pretty much have to drive to get here, felt like a bit of a swizz.

The beds were very comfy and a good size. The food we had was very good too. We particularly liked the spaciousness of the dining and bar area and the reception area.
Signage back to reception could have been better. We were on the third floor and finding our way back down to reception using the stairs could have been clearer - a couple of more signs with an arrow would be great.
