Located almost opposite Oval tube station the Maiden Oval presents a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Clean bedrooms with standard fittings and an en suite complete the picture. Plenty of places to eat opposite the hotel.

Great location. Suited us admirably. Oval a great place, nice people. Fitted in very well. Walked to Vauxhall Bridge. 14,500 steps on day one, 21,500 steps on day 2. Will be 80 next year.

I stayed here one night, as it was convenient before an early morning appointment at the USA embassy. A short walk from Oval station and many bus routes. Several eateries and convenience stores around. The room was small, but clean and tidy.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and had everything we needed, and it was in a great location for visiting the city center, with supermarkets nearby. Obviously, some of the furniture was slightly worn, but the value for money was excellent.

The room was essential. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a wide shower with good water flow. The staff very helpful. Tube station almost in front of the hotel. One pub in front with good food. Considering the prices in London this is an excellent price-quality level.

The hotel is close to the tube station. Very good value for money. Nice new bathroom and great shower, very clean. The bed was comfortable. Being on a main road I expect it could be a bit noisy sometimes but ear plugs easily fix that.

I loved the location of this hotel. It’s about a five minute walk from the Oval tube station. The room itself was nice and clean except for a couple of dark scratches on the wall (nothing that really affected my stay). Lastly, the staff were friendly.
