Kelly, the owner, is absolutely open, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, friendly furnished and bright. There was not much waste at breakfast because Kelly was preparing individual and fresh food following personal preference. Good space to stay outside the room at the bar or in the common living room with nice fire place (it was end of October).
The standard room was for a longer stay a bit small- but could be upgraded.

The staff were really friendly made the hotel feel more like a b&b then a hotel which was lovely, the room we stayed in were nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The hot breakfasts were freshly cooked each morning and were delicious, there was a selection of cereals, fruit, hot drinks.
Its a great hotel for a weekend getaway.
Not much parking on site had to park in the street. Otherwise no complaints.
The location was close to everything you needed, very close to a local convenience store, and the sea front was a short walk away.
Close to the harbour. The staff at Glenorleigh were amazing, extremely polite, and helpful. The host Kelly was absolutely lovely and couldn't have made the stay any better than it was for us. The heated pool was really nice be in, especially after walking around in the hot weather. Enough room for parking also.

We loved everything. Honestly, this was the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in.
Excellent place for families, which was lovely because we knew we could relax and not worry about disturbing others too much AND we knew our little person could interact with the other kids.
The room was comfortable and clean and there was sufficient space downstairs to go and relax throughout the day or in the evening. My son’s favourite part about our whole trip was the pool. Probably my favourite part, too. Loved that there were floaties we could use whilst we were there.
The breakfast was so, so good. Good options for adults and kids.
Last but certainly not least was our host, Kelly. What a woman! If we didn’t know any better, we were just guests in her house and not paying guests in a B&B. In fact, my son went to remove his shoes at the door like he would at home! Kelly was very accommodating and attentive. She’s just a really good person who we wish all the best for.
Particularly if you are looking for a family space, there isn’t any other place than Glenorleigh.
What wasn’t there to like?

Very spacious and comfortable public areas. Outdoor heated pool was a big bonus. If the weathers good (which it was for me) you could easily spend all day here without needing to go out. Kids would love it. Breakfast v good. Kelly, the owner, is v warm and hospitable. Location great - walkable to the seafront and a few mins walk from Torre station, yet quiet.
My room was small and the bathroom a bit tight (though not really a problem as the public areas were so large).

clean friendly and lots to keep the kids entertained, breakfast was spot on and always set our tribe up for a day of adventures ?
Coming away on holiday with a special needs child can always feel so worrying
but Kelly and the Glenorleigh adapted to our daughters every need ,nothing was to big or to small to give us such a wonderful stay.

It's a clean and beautiful property. Host Kelly is very kind and friendly. We got a family room for us 5(2 adults, 2 kids and gran)with 2 separate rooms that gave everyone a sense of privacy. Comfortable beds and quiet nights helped us sleep well. Hotel has a heated pool which my kid loved. Breakfast served was very good. The whole staff is very sweet and helpful. Kelly let us eat in the dining room when we did a takeaway as we have 2 under 5s and couldn't manage to go out for dinner.
Lot of shops at 5 min walking distance. Excellent base to explore famous Devon attractions

Overall, the stay was decent. The breakfast arrangements were good although there was an additional charge for extras. The kids enjoyed the pool.
There were not enough staff available to handle guest requests promptly and at times it was difficult to find someone for assistance as the owner seemed to be managing everything alone. Wi-Fi in the room was inconsistent, parking was quite tight and the room decor felt outdated.
