The warm greeting on arrival from the owner Russel and his family including a the tour of the property, these small touches always go a long way to making people feel welcome. The rooms were of a good size, clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast came with good portions and was tasty. The bar at the property has a cozy, pub like feel and is a good place to end the day with a drink. The location of the property, while up a hill is less than 10 minutes from the seafront.

The bedroom was rather small, (room 16) but it was clean. The bathroom was also nice and clean. Contained flat screen tv, tea and coffee, hairdryer.

The parking. Some people politely called it snug! As you drive in, the B&B is on your left and cars are parked all the way up the driveway on the right. At the rear of property are more parking bays, and as it’s so cramped, is impossible to turn round and into your allocated bay. In order therefore to turn round, you drive out of rear of property through gateway, along a short roadway to a wider area to turn around, and drive back through gateway, which is locked at 10.30pm. So you feel trapped in your bay. It is not a car park you easily nip in and out of. Unless you are fit and able to walk to restaurant for dinner, you’d be stuck.

The room was good-sized, clean and seems like it's well looked after. The owner and his family are very friendly. The breakfast was well-organised, well-cooked, tasty, and filling with a few options available. The location is great, with 5mins walk to the shopping centre or to the beach/seaside. There is living room, patio and bar available for those that want to have a quiet evening in. All the facilities and carpets were clean. The owner is also ensuring that there is no noise from guests after 10.30pm, which I really appreciated. :)

There is honestly nothing that I didn't like. I would only recommend a couple of small things to improve it, such as some soap by the sink or more toilet paper available (although the room is cleaned and stocked up daily).

Super clean, immaculate decoration which was modern and tasteful, breakfast lovely, my husband had a full English with sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown, egg and tomato. Beautiful linen tablecloths and napkins. Tea tasted a bit funny but I think it is the water in the area. I had coffee the next day which was fine. Russel the host was very pleasant and funny and made it clear if we needed anything we could ask. It was a bit hot in our room and Rusel said they had fans but we just didn't think to ask. Location great, about 7 minutes down the hill to the beach and harbour, 5 minutes through the car park or down Abbey Road to the town. Parking available, just a bit tight but better than no parking or having to pay for parking.

There was a slight musty smell in the reception area but all the carpets and decor were new, so I am not quite sure why there was a funny smell. There was nothing really to complain about to be honest.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the property. Russell was very welcoming, polite, respectful and friendly and even gave us a tour of the property which was lovely. The location of the property was perfect, about a 6-7 minute walk to the sea front and restaurants. Our room was very clean, very comfortable and had a great view also.

The pleasant surprise was the guests' lounge area, which was large and beautiful - though hardly anyone else seemed to use it. My single room was big enough, solidly furnished with plenty of storage space. The en-suite was likewise good. Everything, throughout the hotel, was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Location was good...and bad. The good part was the easy walk down into town.

The bad part of the location was the walk back up the hill. You could take a bus, but that involved a fairly long downhill walk from the nearest stop Parking was an issue. We were each allocated a space, but room was very tight and manoeuvring difficult at busy times. Breakfast was disappointing, an exercise in feeding the guests as quickly as possible. The food was adequate, at best, compared with a top B&B.

Our room at the Lindum Lodge was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage so we were able to unpack completely. Russell and his family were very friendly and the breakfasts were good!

There was nothing we didnt like but some people might struggle with the location, it's a beautiful walk downhill to the seafront then a choice of 2 hills back up to the lodge- one quite steep and one not too bad.

Russell was very informative and his advice helped to make our stay more pleasurable. The establishment was extremely clean with an excellent breakfast each morning. Our room was clean specious and nicely decorated (we picked luxury room on ground floor ) there was no access from the room to the patio as stated (room with patio)

a strong musty smell emanating from the lobby also affected our room my clothes were soaked in mustiness. The bathroom was tiny . The breakfast limited in options. Compared to other 4 stars establishments . No tea or coffee was restocked bins was changed 1 times only for 3 nights stay .
