The building itself is spectacular and has a vintage, luxurious charm. The staff were there to serve and were all extremely polite and helpful. The gentleman who checked us into the hotel upgraded our room since it was my husbands birthday which I thought was a thoughtful touch. It meant so much to us, and the room we were upgraded to was by far the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in! The bed was comfortable, the suite spacious, nice bathroom toiletries, gorgeous view, and the wood fireplace was our favorite feature. Also, the radio in the room was playing soft music when we entered which felt like attention to detail and made us smile!

They’ve taken all tea and coffee facilities out the room and hidden the fridge in a cupboard. So you have to go to the ground floor in your dressing gown if you enjoy a morning coffee or tea in bed. Having that in your room

Location is perfectly centered for walking to Fenway and/or historical sites. Completely walkable to several restaurants. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were well appointed and managed to balance the character of an established building with current technology.

We only had two days and one night to enjoy Boston again for a wedding anniversary/birthday visit, so we requested early check with the hope of getting settled before lunch and museums on a Friday. It worked perfectly and we were delighted with the staff and management, which left us a handwritten note, a bottle of Prosecco and flutes in our room. Perfect location and it made the weekend special.

Great location proximity to shops, parking, public library, and metro terminal; walkable distance to Boston Common. Very clean, upscale atmosphere, comfortable beds and very friendly and helpful staff. Also, wasn’t listed on the amenities but our room had a mini fridge to use.
Valet and entrance are accessed at street, can get busy. At checkout we had to fetch the toddler from the library (across the street!) got blocked in by other patrons for a couple minutes. This is the same area for pick up and drop off for ride-shares, can add to the congestion.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lenox Hotel! First, let's talk about the location, it is right in the center of everything. As soon as you step outside, you are just steps away from all the great things Boston has to see, including a ton of amazing restaurants, shops, coffee spots, and parks. The hotel itself also has three fantastic dining options, a casual spot, a slightly more upscale restaurant, and a great bar.The ambiance of the hotel is incredible. We loved the warm, inviting decor and color scheme. Another huge highlight for us was how genuinely dog friendly they are. The staff was so kind and loving to our dog, even giving her treats, and we were thrilled that they don’t charge an extra fee to bring a pet. That is a massive We would absolutely stay at The Lenox again on our next visit to Boston, and we highly recommend it to others!
plus!Our only constructive feedback concerns a couple of minor room details. The thermostat in the room is a bit dated compared to modern systems, and the faucet placement in the bathroom sink was a little awkward and troublesome when washing our hands. We also noticed the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold.With that said, those minor details definitely didn't deter us.
