The check in process was ridiculous. I booked my flight at a time that would work with the hotel check in time. Arrived at the hotel at 3:10PM (check in 3PM). Room was not ready, it took one hour post check in time to be ready. 2h later they realized they gave us a room they had already committed to someone else, and they moved our stuff/luggage to a different room without our knowledge or consent (we were out exploring).
The downstairs coffee machine that everyone praised about in the reviews was often out of service.

Second room had an awful view into a multi-story car park and neighbouring apartment block so we kept the blinds closed and it felt a little claustrophobic. They couldnt move us although the hotel didnt feel full at all. Our room wasnt serviced either. Felt like they were really short-staffed in housekeeping. The bell hop was lovely and very friendly.

The window seat overlooking the River and the central location. Bed very comfy, lovely linen. Loved the water was purified and the plant based toiletries. Yoga mat, resistance band and weights a nice touch. Kettle and coffee machine supplied and comp coffee station provided in foyer. Replenish room supplies from there.

Really nice remodeled hotel. It used to be Kimpton before. The room is very large. The kids loved the seatings on the windows, they are very cool. The view is the best! Close to everything, very walkable.
The pull-out couch was very uncomfortable.

The parking cost for parking a vehicle is too expensive. This was not mentioned in the booking.com when we booked this hotel.

Experienced confusing when checking out as charges were coming off 2 separate cards. A polite and helpful girl on reception helped me understand the mistake that had occurred however the supervisor completely lost patience with me and incredibly offensive and rude language towards me in anger. Management apologised on his behalf and I was rightfully subsidised for both the mistaken payments and the supervisors behaviour. I had an amazing stay up until this point unfortunately.

Fantastic location, lovely spacious room with window seats to enjoy the view. But the best part was the phenomenal staff. Alex on reception went above and beyond to make my stay special and Antonio was so welcoming and accommodating I cannot praise them enough.
Some lovely touches such as a yoga mat in your room, a hydrating face mask, the 24hour coffee station and happy hour was great value.
I would highly recommend this hotel and most definitely return when I next visit Chicago!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious with good light, a good amount of counter space, and multiple good mirrors. Appreciated the in room tea set up, the yoga mat, and the mini fridge. The staff was so kind, and the space really felt welcoming. I also appreciated the outdoor enclosed space where you could wait for transport without being directly in the elements.
The location of the coffee bar on the far side of the elevator sometimes created some unnecessary traffic issues trying to get on or off the elevator. But that's only a minor issue in a really lovely space.

I was 1/2 a block from my meeting location. This hotel had it all....clean updated interior design, great city view, spacious room, great price and an incredibly courteous and helpful staff. L7 knocked it out of the park and I will most definitely stay there again.

Great sized room given Chicago. Under new ownership they did a beautiful job with the renovation. They also retained the doorman Antonio who's the best! Excellent location and beautiful view. Easy walking distance to a lot of attractions. Price for valet parking with in's and out's was a great value and actually cheaper than near by lots.
The bed was a little soft for me but that is just a personal preference. Everything south of the hotel gets a little more dicey but that isn't the hotels fault. Would have liked to get a later check out but all they could accommodate was an extra half hour.

Everything was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The location was perfect! We were able to easily walk or take quick Uber to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It truly made our trip even more special.
Filtered tap water, daybeds in the window to sit and read or just relax. They had an air filter in the room. A small basket of exercise equipment, small weights, balls, a yoga mat and a stretch band. So many seating options in the room. Great products and a mosturising face mask.
The shower was hard to adjust, very hot, hot and oh its cold now.
