The room was clean and bathroom was very well maintained.
The hotel was basically gutted and under construction. The floor my room was on was covered in dust and debris and the hotel could have done a better job at phasing their construction projects. Guests should not be staying on a floor that’s under construction..Period.
The carpet in my room was worn and frayed.
The $45/day price for valet Parking is high and seems to be priced without merit. There’s a parking garage next door that’s $11/day.
No laundry or dry-cleaning service was available.

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was gorgeous. The room was large, the Bed was comfortable, the bathroom was impressive offering both a shower and tub.
There is ongoing construction but it didn’t impact our stay at all.

This luxury hotel is undergoing extensive renovations and that is the only reason I have not marked it as excellent in all categories. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Emma on the front desk was outstanding in her friendliness and efficiency. I loved the room and decor. So beautiful and tasteful. The restaurant ‘ Spring Orleans’ was fantastic and great Cajun food and helpful staff. I even treated myself to a spa experience- very nice.
Only the inconvenience of the renovations.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and hiking in the area.
Hotel was under construction when we visited. We were not advised by Booking.com. The lobby was totally gutted and many of the floors were also being remodeled. There was no coffee shop or restaurant on site. We would not have stayed if we had known of these conditions.

we traveled to Colorado Springs from California for a procedure which would have cost us 3-fold back at home. we wanted a beautiful room that was cozy to relax in yet elegant for an experience, (and with as little noise and stress as possible so my wife could recover from her surgery) ... everything went perfect, from the staff accomodations, to the very friendly valet service, to the comfort and beauty of our room, and the ease of access to dining in the near proximity.
This is not their fault... because renovations are always messy, but the hallways were scattered with debris due to construction. I didn't discount this from my rating... it is what it is. I can't wait to re-visit and see how the remodeling turns out!

Very nice hotel, but 2nd floor is under construction. Didn't see this when I booked my room. Would stay here again, absolutely...but after renovations are completed. Valet parking is $45/night, which is extremely expensive.

I booked this hotel for a romantic ending to a fun bday get away with my guy. The restaurant was closed… the spa was not operating for several months which I did not receive any of this info when booking. Huge disappoint and pointless. We traveled out of our way to this facility from our other outdoor activities and plans just to be disappointed

We were in a newly renovated room which was nicely appointed except no safe. The hotel location was great in proximity to shopping a park and few good restaurants all in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as best they could be considering the property was under major renovation.
There were not much of a lobby, no lobby bar, quick pick up or food service, I am assuming due to the renovation, so no place to hang out, eat or have a drink in the hotel during our stay. We were confronted by lots of homeless people in the area around the hotel.

Loved the newly remodeled room. Very nice! There was construction on our floor, but they were far enough away we never heard anything. The construction people were very nice also. The front desk attendants were very courteous and helpful. I had an issue with a movie I had purchased in the room, and the matter was resolved immediately. We had dinner at the Cajun restaurant at the hotel, and our meals were delicious! The bartender was friendly and attentive. A little pricey, but the service and quality of the food made it worth it. I would highly recommend using the valet service. It's very convenient, and he had our car waiting for us at checkout.

Restaurant area, and elevator area, was under considerable construction. Robe hook and shower shampoo wall mounts, both broken. And for all our sakes, install some towel bars! Where are guests supposed to hand a hand towel‽ Same for bath towels. Many empty walks in bathroom, install a couple towel bars and hand towel rings.

Construction, the hotel is shopworn and under serious construction. It may become a great hotel but for now it’s a motel. There was no restaurant open when we checked in at 9. Their was no snacks, coffee or food in the lobby or the room. We got water. The room needed remodeling.
The front desk staff seemed less than enthused, although the valet staff was excellent. The hotel had no in room dining, no breakfast, no open gym. The room was clean and large but the heat was off and had to be turned on in 45 degree weather. The water had to vent before getting warm.
It could become a great place but it really should not be open to the public until renovation is completed. It also needs to train its staff to be more attentive, if it wants to be a grand Wyndham rather than a Hampton Inn with a historic lobby.

The room was beautiful! Recently remodeled with a touch of fancy, a side of trendy and an abundance of comfort! The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Not a big deal, but there was still some remodeling happening which did not interfere with the comfort of my stay. I can’t wait to see it all finished.

The staff was always very nice and very helpful. The price that we paid for out stay was great and our room was huge and beautiful.
We had an issue with our room key not working a few times and had to go down to get it fixed which was kind of annoying but it finally worked after that. They said it could have been the new system which was understandable. The other issue was our rooms water pressure was terrible. If you wanted a bath start your water about an hour before you want to get in because it was going to take that long to fill it up. Lastly they were doing renovations so how you got on and off the elevator changed depending on time of day. In the morning you would have to go behind the scenes. But other then that we would definitely stay there again just not when they are renovating.

The renovations have been going on for about a year now…pictures are down on from the wall on the rooms….no irons in the room….no microwaves available they were all sold per the staff….the room was freezing cold and could not be regulated the first night…they had to move us to another room.

The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the front door helpers. The room was beautifully finished and the bedding very comfortable. The front desk sent champagne and a card to our room to celebrate our anniversary. The decor and ambiance of the hotel was excellent.
The lobby area was partially under construction, and no coffee was available in the morning. There were very few options available nearby (walkable) for breakfast, and the restaurant was not open for breakfast. We understand this was temporary and will be remedied.once construction is complete.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at the Mining Exchange and would definitely go back. Everyone was so friendly and nice from the front desk to the valet. We also had a good time at the restaurant. We really liked the room, it was quiet, spacious and very clean. Bathroom space was awesome.
Still some construction going on so we missed out on the bar. Not a big issue but it would have been nice to hang out at the hotel patio and have a couple of cocktails. Kinda wish there was a fridge and microwave in the room we were staying in. We went to the New Orleans Restaurant and the portions are pretty big and it's on the pricey side. We couldn't take food to go and food went to waste.

The staff, Jill and her whole team went above the call of service, from Valet to cleaning staff. Just awesome people!!
I love the Living room effect of the lobby, little sitting areas all over the great space, I wrote some great passages in my journal and stories.
It will only be better WHEN the entire remodle is complete! It will be an amazing place to hang out for cocktail too!
The evelvators need some love, the right ground floor eleivator switch is not working and the interiors are a bit "shaggy" I am sure that is already a item list for the management.
