Location is convenient to Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, and Centennial Trail. Liked: We have stayed here before and knew going in that breakfast was not hot. But, as always, it was delicious and adequate. We had muffins, bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, etc. Disliked: The

Perfect place for the 4th of July Liked: Perfect location for the fire work display. Disliked: There are spots "reserved" for the guests, but there were none available for me on the 4th, when I got there. Also I had a trailer for my side by side there was absolutely nowhere any where near the fire
Liked: Location was great. Disliked: Lack of restaurants in the area. This isn’t a reflection of the facility.
I loved the theme of the place and the beds were extremely comfortable. Liked: Breakfast was fine. There were enough options.
Liked: Old timey feel, liked that it had the offices labeled as they were when it was still town hall. Spacious rooms, So much more room for activities! Disliked: The AC was a little loud, and wasn't able to keep the room quite cool enough so it never turned off.
Liked: The peace and quiet!! Disliked: Not a thing.
Liked: Good
The bed was very comfortable and really - isn't that why we were there is to sleep? Liked: Unique, historic. Disliked: The stairs! They were daunting! I guess I missed that part in the description of the property. But we managed.
Great location close to downtown! Liked: This is an old town hall and we stayed in the Public Defenders room which was well appointed. (If you can get the Mayor's room it is much larger and well appointed.) The inn is right next to a very good restaurant that is also owned by the owners of the Tow
Liked: Everything is exceptional. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Poor recommendation Disliked: There is nothing worse than having bugs in your sheets, flies in the shower with you and flies buzzing around the room all night. There is no elevator and you have to lug suitcases up and down 34 steep steps. Carpets need upgrading.
Enjoyed the uniquness and history of the building. Liked: Quaint historic building well maintained and updated that was convenient for our stay. Disliked: Some confusion at check in because I deleted the text with the door codes as I didn’t recognize the sender. However, we called the number on the

Lovely atmosphere and charming town! Liked: Very clean and quiet Disliked: Raining and it was leaking onto the window sill so we didn’t want to turn on the air conditioner for fear of getting shocked. We used the fan and it was a perfectly fine temperature.
Pretty great Liked: It was a nice inexpensive place to stay Disliked: The bathroom fan was excessively loud. There needs to be some sound dampening from the main area.
Nothing to say the city center of Lead. Very few shops open. Liked: Quiet, comfortable bed. Disliked: No warning that there was no elevator. Had to carry suitcases up 30+ steps to the second floor. Breakfast was marginal. We ended up going out for breakfast.
