Really close to a loud club played music every single night. Staff was decently nice. Upstairs breakfast area was dirty and sticky floors.
Payed my hotel through a third party then ended up paying double the amount in fees / valet / etc. was not disclosed in booking.com or else I would’ve booked directly through another hotel that’s more luxury.

Food at the restaurant was good. Glad they had security because it was sketchy outside with all the homeless. There was complimentary wine and cheese everyday between 5 and 6 PM.
No bathrobe or slippers. No coffee machine. Staff were friendly enough but seemed very forced and unnatural.

Shower. Rainfall shower head had very low pressure. Great idea, but not very efficient to actually use. Also needed more outlets. Was tough for two women to get ready at the same time.

They have a night club on the roof that opens at 10pm and goes to 2am. If you are staying on the 9th floor as I was you will be kept up from the loud music from the night club.

Hotel is super cute and fun. The rooftop was nice for breakfast and the pool area is really nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. The free coffee in the mornings downstairs was great. Tao downstairs was amazing and the are some cute rooftop bars across the road. Easy walk to the heart of Hollywood and the tour buses.
Wasn’t a big fan of the location, it felt quite unsafe, I wouldn’t stay in Hollywood again. The minibar is also weighted and completely full so you are unable to put anything else in there. There’s no way to make tea or coffee in your rooms. The rooftop was not open in the afternoons during the week which was a bit disappointing for us.

Comfortable room, beds, and friendly personnel. Minibar had a lot of snacks and drinks for every taste. Common areas were spacious and fun to be at. Room service was the best I've had so far, the room was left in pristine conditions daily.
Neighborhood is dirty and not properly maintained. Prices at the hotel are very expensive (e.g. $60 for a bottle of champagne, $30 for avocado toast and a cup of tea).

The room was comfortable and the hotel is nice. Centrally located to the Walk of Fame, lots of dining/entertainment options.
The hotel staff was nice when you could find them. There was a wait to check in when I arrived because no one was at the front desk. Later, when I tried calling the front desk no one answered, I called room service and no one answered, and finally I called the outside line and waited for 10 minutes before someone answered.
The hotel doesn't provide coffee or tea in the room. You have to go to the lobby (room service doesn't answer) to get your own. If you drink tea, you're out of luck. You'll be charged $5 per cup - if the barista is there, which he's not always. You may have to walk down the street to the nice cafe on the corner to get a cup as I did.

The fact that we couldn’t get a bottle of wine at the roof because it was “club prices” at 2pm… $400 for a bottle of wine? Even the server said she didn’t know why. Put a very sour taste in our mouths.

We stayed at 'King Room - Bronze'. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We liked the proximity to Sunset Blvd and the metro station is not too far from the hotel. The shower cabin was excellent with lots of nice toiletries available. The hotel offers their guests a house car for driving up to a 3-mile radius. Bottled water was available in the room, and you can also drink tap water.
We had an early flight on the day we left the hotel and announced the evening before at the reception that we would like to check out early around 6am, and we wanted to pay any expenses and receive the folio. They assured us that there was no need for it and that someone would be at the reception the next day at 6am. Of course, there was no one at the reception the next day, so we left the room cards with the security guard. I don't like the policy of taking the deposit because some other hotels only take the card details but don't charge the credit limit like this hotel does. It takes a very long time to return the reserved amount on the card. There is no room price with breakfast included. There is no coffee machine in the room, only free coffee in the lobby in the morning. We did not receive a folio from the hotel. We didn't feel welcome. We ate at other places for much lower prices.

The staff at Dream is truly wonderful. Welcoming and highly supportive. I never got their names but the receptionist who helped me check in and extend my stay was amazing.
My stay, in general, was comfortable. The location is perfect, cleaning is done consistently and I’d love to come by again.
The bed I had was comfortable but the bathroom/closet situation was a little weird with the bathroom placed right next to the front door. The result was it was a little too overcrowded in the entrance and it felt like there was too little privacy. I remember the first room I stayed in at Dream was better. That’s my only complaint though.

Very nice property. Rooms are luxury for the price, good space and good facilities.
Only negative thing I have to say is, when we first went into our room, half the furniture was missing which was shown from the pictures.
Wasn’t a massive deal, they offered us 2-3 other rooms as alternatives! Was greatly handled.

Being able to check out early.
We were on the 9th floor and it turns out the roof top terrace (floor 10) turns into a night club. Music pumping until 2am, then furniture dragged around until 3am. Impossible to sleep through the noise and after checking Google, there are multiple complaints of this nature. The room was incredibly tight and the "balcony" was too small to even fit chairs.

Well, we booked the room months ago and so I think there must have been a room that was not under the nightclub which kept us up at night. The lighting was poor in the dressing area, so it was hard to put my make up on. there were no tables in the bedroom except one small bedside table.

The staff were all extremely attentive. The hotel was chic, beyond clean, and the room was very comfortable.
There was a lot of noise coming from the rooftop bar and pool area at night and other rooms up until at least 2am. The pool area did not have enough space for those who wanted to access, and we were not initially told that reservations were needed for that area for most of the spaces. The overall area seemed safe but changed from block to block.

The hotel spaces were beautiful and modern. The bedroom was a big size, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very polite and friendly. The food at the highlight room was delicious, and I'd recommend going there for some drinks in the evening ina. Friday or Saturday night.
The hotel is in a good location, there was Tao next door (restaurant), round the corner from Walk of Fame and walking distance to Runyun Canyon. Quick taxi ride to Universal and in general, a pretty central location to get taxis from

Check in was smooth and well managed. Shout out to Shelly who looked after us, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room was excellent, dual aspect window with one viewing towards the 'Hollywood' sign. Location was close to Hollywood boulevard and had several nice restaurants close by. The food that we had in the hotel was excellent - one breakfast and one lunch - both freshly prepared, well presented and very tasty. Rooftop pool was clean and had a great vibe. Best of all, the bed and pillows in the room were the most comfortable I've had when staying in a hotel - four great nights sleep were had.

I booked my stay 6 months in advance and upon an arrival the front desk person checking me in said the room I paid for was sold out? After filing a complaint, the next day I was taken care of by one of the managers which I did greatly appreciate but for the price I paid for this hotel I was kind of underwhelmed by the whole thing. The pool being only 3ft deep was also a let down (not advertised), was looking forward to actually swimming in the heat.

Hair dryer was missing in the hotel room. In the other room it didn’t worked.
There was also a flickering light in the bathroom, which was a bit annoying but okay.

The property is in a great location. We enjoyed our stay as usual. We have stayed several times.
Our only issue was the additional charge for a 30min late check out time. We stay in MANY luxury high end hotels and usually they offer a complimentary check out of at least an hour. They did not. They charged a full hour for 30mins after the 11am check out.

The room is quite big. It is 215 a night, and the room come with a standing shower AND a bath tub, which is unheard of if you are a frequent LA traveler.
It is a bit expensive, and there aren't many amenities in the room, no microwave or coffee maker. The fridge is very small, only for their drinks. I wish there will be a small separate fridge so you can put your drinks or leftover stuff that need to be refrigerated

A comfortable bed, trendy amenities, and an excellent gym. Plus, it's ideally located for food and entertainment, with the superb Tao restaurant right next door.
This place is noisy. There's a club where you can hear the bass thumping through the windows until 2 AM. After that, the party crowd returns to their rooms and keeps the noise going. Even when the club is closed, there's always some activity outside—amateur DJs, parties, and more. It's just a loud place overall.
