It was in Los Angeles so the only thing I can say is parking. Parking was extremely expensive at any of the hotels so I needed to use a parking facility about two blocks away to park my car. The value there was more than half off, but it wouldve been to park at the hotel.

The stay exceeded my expectations and the room was beautiful. The balcony was an incredible surprise and we were shocked at how large it was. I especially loved the fig wallpaper in the bathroom, it took me forever to realize it wasn't a weird palm tree ( which I would have totally nerded out about ).
The staff were extremely pleasant and went above and beyond. When my room service was missing an item, they comped me the item and even brought up a complementary beverage. All the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The service at their restaurant was exceptional ( and food was delicious asf ).
All that said, the hotel stole my heart when my partner looked into the history of it. We found out that this was the first hotel in the US to be run by a woman named Maude Bouldin. She kept a number of rooms reserved for women to make sure they had a place to stay. She also rode motorcycles and flew planes. For added context, women had won the right to vote only 6 years earlier.
Excellent service, excellent room, excellent memory. This will be my new default when visiting LA.

All the reception staff were dealing and treating the gusts on a personal level. Bravo!
Bar staff were less productive and lack professionalism in comparison with the high level of the reception. The breakfast options were limited.
Car parking was expensive 53 dollars/day and my car was scratched by the valet staff. They deny it and claimed they had checked my car after I gave it to them - They donβt do the checking in your presence?!-very weird justification. Definitely next time I will not use the hotel valet parking.

Really like the visuals -- the restaurants and cafes in the lobby area are amazing. the overall traditional feel is fantastic.
The staff -- two "managers" -- were unacceptably unhelpful, and rude. Worst service of any hotel we've ever been to.
The issue started with the fact that we booked a 3 adult room, but when we arrived, they did not have a second bed in the room. When we asked what we could do, they told us they couldn't help us. It's hard to believe, but yes, this is what Jesssica told us. When we told her that was unacceptable and we need to talk to a manager, she told us she was the manager. It went on and on, but, there was ZERO apologetic behavior for the fact that our room did not have a second bed (our room did not have a rollaway bed as it was supposed to), and they didn't offer a solution. When I asked if there was another room in the hotel, they said there was, but we'd have to pay. We ended up having our son sleep on a tiny couch. Again, this was a disgrace.
I got the email address of a customer service manager, but no response whatsoever. I will not escalate this to booking.com and make sure that this is known to other guests. Again, this is not acceptable behavior.

The team are always so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a very good size and can never fault the service across the hotel - housekeeping, reception, bar etc. The food is fantastic and we ate in the hotel each morning and often when we returned from days out exploring.
There was a large conference in town so two days we could not have breakfast, or there was a wait.
Not enough of an issue to rate this place to reflect this as the team were always so helpful, and there are enough places on the doorstep that you can simply head out and grab a bite to eat somewhere else.

We stayed at the Hyatt for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. It was easy to walk back and forth. The parking is expensive but it's easy access when compared to other hotels in the area. I really enjoyed this hotel because it's smaller and everything was easy. I appreciated the free coffee and water. The lobby is a fun hangout area and the restaurant has yummy food. I appreciated the children's menu as well. Each room has a refrigerator and that was helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.
They couldn't put our rooms close together so that was disappointing.
