Fit to Purpose Liked: This artsy former-automotive-shop-turned-motel seemed liked the perfect choice for exploring Marfa, a speck of a West Texas town that was put on the cultural map by artist Donald Judd decades ago when he purchased and converted a decommissioned military base on its outskirts. We loved it and we would for sure stay at Pik Pak again if/when we go back to Marfa Liked: The place was just cool! We loved it! Disliked: The only negative was the shower curtains in both rooms I rented smelled awful and need to be changed.
The Pik Pak was perfect... Liked: The owners have done a fantastic job of repurposing and old market / service station into a modern lodging facility. A photo book in the room documents all that they have accomplished themselves. The furnishings and decor are very tasteful and comfortable. Disliked:
