I received a mail a day before my arrival which stated that the hotel was "Adult only". There was no mentioning of that on Booking's website. However, I travelled wiith my 20 year's old son. So we were put into a hotel at the side (Essex House). The pool facilities were at the Clevelander Hotel. Essex House is built with wooden ceilings, thin walls. Very noisy. Defeinitely not worth the money we were charged.

The location was in the heart of South Beach Miami. You could walk to great restaurants and the beach. The hotel itself had entertainment almost all night. You could hang out at the hotel and hear great music, dance, laugh, eat, socialize, and the pool.

Theres no place like south beach, its in the almost direct middle of the strip on ocean ave.
The doors, the room doors are a little noisy, bang every time someone closes a door can be annoying when your trying to sleep , theres no sound proofing in your room or hallway to your room therefore noises ex. (voices, doors , wheels from luggage /carts) echos down the hallway into your room.

Didnt realize the noisiest hotel in Miami. Music plays until 4 am. Mostly bass is what you hear in your room. Thought it had a rooftop pool which it did not, just lounging area. Main pool closes at 6pm which was too early we felt. Staff at front desk were v nice though.

Its prime location! The staff was great! I stayed an extra two night just because of the STAFF! Lol. Get Bartenders! A lot of FUN!

Great location! You dont have to leave the building to have a good time. If you get an ocean front room you wont really hear any music per say. The room had some plumbing issues but they were addressed. The building is historic so you expect some hiccups. Overall good experience

Joel and Christian were phenomenal managers, some of the other staff need better customer service skills, and learn how to be upfront with customers and not lie.
My room didnt have a/c for two days, think its overpriced rooms needed to be modernized. Elevators move extremely slow.

Great location, and the staff was awesome! Convenience and location to the beach is second to none. Access to food and shopping is good as well.
There were only two things that I didn't like. First, my vehicle was unable to be Valeted. It was apparently too high, so I needed to park off-site. Secondly, there was a resort fee added to price of the stay. It seems that should have been addressed by booking. So all in all, I had to pay an addition almost 300.00 for parking and fee's.

We loved the location and the front desk staff were great - especially Michelle.
The room itself was a little hot albeit our AC tried its hardest; we had an ocean front room so the sun beat directly on our window all day. The shades were helpful; but if we closed them we were essentially sitting in a tiny dark room with no view.
The bathroom situation was also a bit weird. Toilet directly in front of a sliding door that did have gaps. Luckily were comfortable with each other!

Location was great! Extremely walkable to everything around South Beach. We have visited many hotels around South Beach and these have been the best beds by far!
Staff was 50/50. Half the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming the other half didnt even look up from their phones to acknowledge you were present. Same with housekeeping, some days they came others they forgot. The attached restaurant was very overpriced compared to what you got for the same price at neighboring restaurants not to mention the servers were horrible. The bussers were basically serving as the servers all hung out in the server station and walked a lap every 45 minutes.

Room was advertised as an ocean front king with a balcony. There are no balcony rooms at this hotel. Our AC didnt work properly and we had to have maintenance come out twice. It was very warm the first night. The hotel said they would credit our resort
