This boutique hotel is located in the heart of South Beach opposite from the beach. Guests can schedule a massage, burn a few calories in the fitness center, or visit the on-site bar and restaurant. A flat-screen cable TV, antique furnishings, and coffee-making facilities are included in all guest rooms at Pelican Hotel.

I loved my stay here - first I thought it would be too noisy due to its central location but no issues at all - I rented a larger room without much views but it was great with fantastic access to all the places in the heart of south beach. they allowed me to checkin early which was a big plus compared to other hotels around - I highly recommend Pelican Hotel-

Rooms were even better than expected. The pictures don't do them justice! Service was perfect and everyone was very kind. Definitely recommend staying here! Won't be the last time we will stay at Pelican Hotel!

The staff and facilities were great. I had a slight awkward arrival due to the Spring Break insanity that I had not prepared for, luckily only 1 night booked so I stayed safe in the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to take care of those of us inside anxious to leave, as they knew things were insane outside and we were definitely not the usual spring break crowd. I felt so safe being with them, thank you for the security and care. I would definitely stay again. The room itself was comfy, at the back of the hotel so nice and quiet, bathroom lovely and good products.

My one issue was the shower. It had no thermostat control so I'd adjust to temp i wanted but it would suddenly go stone cold for 3 seconds or scalding. If it was just cold I probably wouldn't say but when you are washing and it is scalding I think that was quite dangerous. I recommend they upgrade their systems.

Everything! The Location is perfect , well appointed interior , retro , hip - but most ESPECIALLY the staff. Our 40 th Anniversary could not have been more memorable and we attributed that all to Wendell and Manny. What an asset to your property. There is nothing like having employees that represent so well - It was lovely to have complimentary Aperol Spritz daily , access to wonderful dining - we had a beautiful view, comfy bed , plugs all about , a refrigerator with COMPLIMENTARY Beverages refilled every day .

It was very nice to get complimentary drinks and beverages. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious.

Front desk personnel was very nice and helpful. However, the cleaning people woke us up around 7.30 am. They were extremely loud when talked to each other, one lady screamed bloody murder that early in the morning.

Facilities were very good. Our maitre 'd Juan was one of the best servers we've ever met, as we travel about doing reports on restaurants, hotels, etc., we see a lot.

Management was appalling, to the point where they called the police on us because we disputed their treatment of us. The police came, and when I told them what I told them, the police simply left. It was unnecessary that they were called. Never mind the inconsistent bar prices and smoking rules.

What I liked most is the excellent service of the staff. Especially Mr Wendell , the supervisor, and Carolina were very help full. There was first a problem because I got a twin room instead of the queenie room I booked however finally I got upgraded without extra cost to the penthouse floor in to a great room. On top they showed flexibility at the check out. Always fast service and very good breakfast and restaurant.

We enjoyed part of our honeymoon at this hotel located right on the Ocean Drive. And it has been a wonderful experience. Very nice rooms, stylish, every room have its own theme and have all the amenities you need. Plus youll have 2 drink from a selection every day between 4 and 6 pm, and two towels and lounges at the beach. The service provided by the staff, in particular by Wendell, was top notch. He took care of us every day, really kind and professional. We ate at the restaurant (bruschette, cacio & pepe, meatballs) and, as Italians, we were really satisfied!

Excellent art deco recently refurbished hotel with unique and quirky rooms. The location was right in the middle of the action of South Beach. The bar was great. Manny and Liz on reception couldnt have been more helpful. The provision of free beach towels and loungers and the location just moments from the beach was great. Oh, and we were treated to a free cocktail from the bar each day!

People looking for an extremely quiet and relaxing experience would probably benefit from a hotel away from Ocean Drive due to the noise of the area (but this didnt bother me).
