I do the Miami carnival every year so I like to try and stay in the same hotel

The food was way over priced, didn't taste good at all and the staff looked at us several times but did not acknowledge us. It took us going and asking for help before we were served and it was not busy at 6:15. The lagoon side which is way more expensive can hear the planes take off all night. The bathrooms needed some work with the cracking around the tub and the mold around the cracking

I like that it was close to Airport and right off the highway and also close to things you need like Walmart and stores like that for last minute things for your trip..it's 25 mins from the ship port if you take a Uber there.
As much as this place cost they charge you $30 a nite for parking..unless you ask the hotel attendant to give you some info about how you can park cheaper and also enjoy your stay. Make sure to ask for the $30 parking pass so that you can go in and out of the hotel if not you will pay for parking every time you leave and it's by the hour. Also know their is a $50 hold on top of the cost of your room. Oh yes Uber ride will hit for about $50 dollars each way.

The property is gorgeous! Our room was spacious and super comfortable with a really! nice! view! The shuttle to the airport was timely and comfortable. So much easier than trying to drive the rental car to the airport.
Noting that this was Nov 30 so, yes, a super busy day and the stay was so nice, I'm just being picky. It would have been nice to be able to manage a luggage cart for ourselves. We had a lot of items because we were taking items back to another country and there was only one person assisting with bags. Add to that, there were so many people checking in and only 2 people managing that function so the luggage carts were full and there was a bit of chaos.

The location and the grounds of the hotel was well kept.
The room is very expensive and it was not clean. The shower head was filled with buildup, the toilet was clogged hard to flush and you can tell they haven’t done a deep clean in the bathroom due to the dust and marks shown in the bathroom.

I like the free shuttle to the airport. I like the Hertz car rental company was at the location and I could leave my rental there. Some staff were nice while one in particular was very rude. He works at the concierge.
The bathrooms were outdated. There is a price tag to everything and it’s expensive. The room was ok but was not sound proof. I could hear talking and knocking all around me. The bathroom pipe was dirty and appear to not have been cleaned for a while. The toilet was old and rusted.

We liked the room and the daily room service. We also enjoyed being able to take walks around the property and appreciate the surroundings — the airplanes taking off and landing, the traffic, and the lagoon. If we needed a taxi, it could easily be arranged for us. Food and drinks were available, and payments could be made afterward. The property is conveniently located close to the airport.
The staff at the front desk were a bit cold (no smile, no expression). I was hesitant to ask questions because they responded briefly and seemed uninterested. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable and the apartment itself was great.

The hotel is way to hyped up in the website, nothing compared with reality, and if you book throughout a website, such, Trivago or booking.com. and you encounter a discrepancy, hotel staff can not help.
They are quick to say, "Well you booked throughout a third-party, you need to talk to them".
Rooms are poorly maintained, they are smelly, beds are old, bedding not comfortable, furniture old, shower water didn't want it to go down.
Door for tiny balcony didn't want to close.
I called 4 times asking for help to close it, never came while I was in there.

We checked in at 1 pm, was told we would get a text when our room was ready. 5 hours later I inquired about our room and was told to get in line and check at the desk. A half hour later I reached the desk and was given my key. I talked to night manager about a compensation and he said to talk with him when things calmed down. I talked to desk clerk when we checked out at 4 a.m. talked to her about it and she had me fill out a form and told me when they talked to him they would either call me or text me what his decision would be. 8:15 p.m. I haven't heard anything. I believe a compensation would be fair. We spent a lot of wasted time as many other guests did spending money on food and drink in the front area. For the price we paid it was disappointing.

it was fine, nothing special. Very basic, old style rooms, could do with an update.

Good breakfast with excellent attentive staff. Massive airy, bright and comfy rooms. Busy hotel with happy party vibe. Two shops to get your take away coffee, sanbos, snacks, drinks and bits and pieces whilst on holiday. Very close to the Airport with a much appreciated free shuttle service every 1/2 hour.
Expensive. Moody waitress in restaurant/bar section. (Sad - because her colleagues were excellent). Hotel automatically takes the tip from you (I think it was around 12-15%). I don't like that. I should be in control of tipping. I wonder does the hotel actually give all the tip to the server or share it around or keep some of it? TBH I felt I was sort of compelled to add to the tip. I don't like the psychology behind it at all.
