The location is so great! 2 blocks from Bossanova Ballroom for shows is amazing. Tons of great food within walking distance.
The bed is just not good, there's no sugar coating it. Cleaning staff left the soap from a prior guest and the shower is crazy small.

Parking was supposed to be free. When I got to there, no parking was available. Front desk said it was the bar with loud music next door. But I checked and all of the cars in the lot had the same parking slip I did from the hotel. The motel doesn’t provide enough spaces for all of the rooms.
Bed was too soft and the room was time and walls and doors were paper thin. People were outside talking until 3 in the morning and we could hear everything from the bar.

We arrived far too late (after 2am) & were informed the place was fully booked since we didn't arrive earlier. Josè the night manager double checked my name & reservation only to discover our rooms were still available! OMG horray! And all was well.

The location: It was close to the club I was DJing at, so that was nice. There was free on-site parking, so that was good too. And the staff was friendly, so I appreciated their customer service during my stay.
The bed was a little uncomfortable. I didn't get the best night's sleep because it felt like the bed was a little lumpy. I got some sleep, but it wasn't restful sleep. Other than that, my stay was fine.

Location was great for my plans during my stay. New restaurants and coffee shops since the last time I stayed in this area (not at this location). Definitely will use the lodge again when I am in this neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable.
I had one light fixture in my room that didn't work. I'm not sure it was the actual light fixture or the plug in.

The hotel was pretty well located. The staff were very friendly and helpful
It was noisy. Even allowing for being in a major city the noise was pretty loud. I could hear pretty much everything from the adjoining room.
The room was a little musty to begin with, we had to air it out by opening the window

It was a great place to stay! Breakfast was lacking but I guess that was all that could be expected. Missing items that were not delivered they said. We tried to go downtown but were encouraged by many not to park down there so we ended up leaving Portland earlier than expected. Hotel was a great local though.

In the central place of the city that is relatively safe with restaurants and bars, The staff were friendly, check in and out was efficient. Room was large enough for 2 queen beds. The place was clean and spartan like.
Since the Inn is an old one that has been refurbished and renovated, their is still some smell. and no in-room coffee!

The location was good. There were plenty of restaurants, cafés, and other businesses within walking distance. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.
The room itself was okay. The bathroom wasn't in great shape: the flooring was lifting off the ground and the shower kept switching between extreme water temperatures.

Location and value.
The manager that checked me out this morning refused to rent me another night even though it was clear he had more than an abundance of available rooms. He was claiming that I had an incident in December of 2023 in which I had too many people in my room. I tried to remind him that the incident was actually in December 2022, not 2023 and that it wasn’t my room but my mother-in-law’s room that had the extra people in it.
He would not let me explain and kept repeating that he doesn’t want to hear my lies. Who does that guy think he is to talk to me like such. Not only is his memory obviously failing him but he reckons himself a decent man.
I will never stay at such a self righteous pompous arrogant fool’s establishment again. He’s apparently too old to even recall the incident. Oh well. His loss. Old fool.

Good rooms on a low budget. We stay here to attend concerts in Portland so if you only need a place to sleep for a night, it works well.
The room keycards are awful. Everytime we stay here the room keycard stops working and we have to go to the office and get new ones. Had to get replacements TWO separate times to enter our rooms. Very annoying and inconvenient.

They have a good cheap motel, but they installed thick sliding doors on the bathroom that don't shut out anything, so there is no privacy on the toilet - anybody can hear and smell everything
