We were there for our anniversary,33rd. on Halloween. Rudy checked us in, super friendly, informative, great personality. All staff were amazing! The sent chocolate covered strawberries to our room for our anniversary. Hotel is very clean. Even though it's located right down town, it is very quiet. We'll definitely book again!

Everything! The Emily Morgan has some rather interesting history. Love how the interior is clean but they left alot of the history behind. We didn't experience any creepy paranormal activity. We did experience doors opening & closing on their own, a few shadows, & the 14 (13) floor smells like a hospital, not offensive though.

My favorite 80’s bar is called Be kind please rewind and I want to be within walking distance so if I’m a little tipsy I can walk back to my hotel easily. I loved that the shower has its own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers on the wall. Check-in time is at 4 but they let me check-in at 3.

It was hot in the lobby when checking in. My room had trash in the trash can when we walked in and the counter had dried up something on it. Room was not clean!

Beautiful historic building, great location for walking to the convention centre and all the sights of downtown San Antonio including the Riverwalk, spacious room, friendly staff.

The air conditioning in my room was broken such that I was unable to turn it off or control it in any way. I had arrived the day before having to give a presentation, and didn't realize this until late in the evening. It was a little inconvenient, and it was not until the next morning that I found a heater in the closet. I felt as though the front desk should have known this was a problem, and at least informed me that there was a heater.

The stories and history of the property was fun to hear about.

The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all . There was a thick layer of dust on the bottom of the toilet and dirty used wash clothes that were left hung on the top of the shower to dry . Housekeeping never once came to our room to even make the bed .

Room was comfortable. Loved the large tub. Alamo view was amazing. Comfortable beds . Room temp was great. Staff was informative and very friendly. Had a great time.

The bathtub was very slippery!! We stayed in two rooms and both tubs someone almost fell, getting out of the tub was difficult. We were told when checking out you can request tub mat, so make sure you ask! Coffee could have been better.

Jessica was phenomenal at reception. She was truly a great representative of the company. The location within the city is very nice.

The building wasn’t very well maintained it seemed. Other members of staff outside of Jessica weren’t great at addressing a few problems we had. While the location is quite good the building seems to need updating as there was a leak in my sister in laws room. The staff that managed this issue both that night and during check out were not very nice or keen to make up for this incident.

Beautiful property close to all the sites. Across the street from the Alamo with room with views. Front desk was very accommodating

The room was freezing. Thermostat was set for 70 when we arrived but was more like 65 at the most. Turned the thermostat up to 77 and left for 2 hours. Upon return, there was no change. Could have been a cold spot due to the haunted history of the hotel as that room was said to be active. The room was 77 in the morning.

Great location. We could walk to the event we were attending and a lot to do/see very close to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Valet parking was good but expensive. Bed was very comfortable. Nice there was a comfy robe but only one and there were two of us. We were able to check out and leave our luggage with reception while we went out for the afternoon.

The room was very small, and we thought we would have a view of the Alamo. Someone told us all the rooms did but we did not. We were on the 14th floor so there was a view of the city and the parking lot. There were some weird noises of water running and groaning. These kept my husband awake so he did not get a good night's rest.

The location. That is all.

The filters were filthy like caked on dust and we had to request them to be changed twice for both of the rooms we rented. We had to change one of the rooms because it was super humid and only few outlets worked and the bathroom light was out. The second room no matter what temperature ac was set on it was freezing and it never turned off. The whole family ended up with terrible allergies from the hotel the first night staying there. Do not take a baby to stay there for this reason alone. This hotel used to be better than this. Huge disappointment overall.

I was able to get a room with no problem.

The room was very small. Barely enough room for the bed and TV stand. There was no parking. That was the worst of it all. I had to pay for valet or public parking. Horrible situation in my opinion.
