Perfect location.
The toilet was not in the same room as the sink. Super weird. Also the bed sheets had stains on them and the shower was gross and super slippery

Location was in a great space. Lots of restaurants, bars, etc to go to. Reasonably clean and safe area and a great view to the Golden Gate Bridge and a 2 km walk to Pier 39.
The property was very dated. Everything echoed from the street and being on the highway wasn’t great. Would probably recommend staying somewhere a little quieter. Especially at that price.

Interesting place to explore in close proximity to the Motel are Funston Playground, Marina District, George R Moscone Recreation Center, Marina Green, Exploratorium, Museum of Typewriters, Palace of Fine Arts, Alta Plaza, Wonders of Tibet, Swedenborgian Church and others.

The room was decent, relatively clean. It was missing one lamp, looked like it had been cut off the fixture.
Parking was sketchy. Not many spots and really small stalls. Was told to make certain everything was out of the car because there was a high likelihood of theft. There was a rather large gap in the floor boards at the foot of the bed that was filled with dirt. Pretty disgusting.

Wonderful customer service! We needed to change our rom upon arrival and the front desk worker accommodated the change right away! He was friendly and courteous and turned the coffee machine on so we could get coffee after check out. Highly recommend!
It can be a little loud at night just due to location, but other than that it was a great stay!

Leaving... though the parking spots are so tight, even that was painful.
After travelling across America for 6 weeks as a family of 5, this was the absolute worst place we have ever stayed at. I have not written a review for any other accomodation, but felt a duty to warn others not to stay here. There was no other accomodation available in the city for our last minute stay, and because we booked through booking.com we could not cancel upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the room stank and we needed to leave the door open to try and clear the smell. We could not use the air-conditioner as it smelt like a cross between black mould and a rats nest. We woke to what we thought was the sound of rain, but no, it was the above rooms shower pouring through our bathroom roof and into our bathroom.... When the manager finally arrived in the morning, he seemed "shocked" to hear of our complaints and agreed to view the room with us. He said he wasn't aware of any previous complaints about the room, and couldn't smell the foul smell the 5 of us could... I suggested he read the numerous reviews online that clearly complain of the same issues they still hadnt fixed. He also didnt think it was an issue that the smoke alarm had been removed and not replaced... He finally agreed to offer us a partial refund through booking.com, to which I let him know other reviews have said he had promised this in the past and they never return the funds. He assured me that wasn't correct and he promised it would be done and even gave me a receipt to prove it! Amazing! After numerous conversations with booking.com, shockingly, they said the hotel won't return the funds to them. So to sum it up, don't stay here unless you want to spend the night in a condemned room full of black mould they have clearly just painted over, and share shower water with the above rooms guests all over your bathroom. And a bit of free advice - book your hotels directly through the hotel and not booking.

Nothing about this property was clean. There was no heater working in our first room then we asked to be moved and the second room was horrible. The Tv wasnt rven working. The handle for the shower was broken. There was hair everywhere that wasn’t ours. The pillows were horrible.
Everything was HORRIBLE. I even asked for a refund but the manger told me no.

The climate control did not work in the room, it was dirty there was grapes in the sink which was weird, and the cleaning lady kept knocking on the door early I told her in Spanish that I was checking out by 11 but she kept knocking I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!

It was not sound proof. We were on the second floor and the neighbors upstairs had a party until 2am and you can hear everyone stopping on the floor and laughing. Also can hear them dragging furniture around. The sheets had some cigarette stains. The nightlight shade was old and flaking off

The rooms are comfortable
The beds are a bit too high, making it difficult to get on for older people or those with mobility issues. You can hear people in other rooms, which is expected. The room we got had a bathroom leak, the water from the upstairs room would leak down to ours through a crack. The bathroom is small, you had to be inside the shower enclosure to turn on the water or it’d spray down the floor. Parking is first come first serve and very tight

Location and price was ok. Only 10 parking spots but they were free. Other hotels charged extra for parking. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
TV was broken. When I inquired he said they are due for a remodel in May. Offered to send maintenance the next day, but we were leaving then. Thought we'll play on our phones instead. Wifi PW did not work. Wasn't worth mentioning since we all had data. Bathroom ceiling fan broken, like a sauna after a shower. I was sweating putting my makeup on in there. Ice machine was broken. He said to use the one across the street. Again said they'll get a new one during remodel. The add said breakfast included but sign on door said, breakfast cancelled as of January 2026. I picked this place to save money but I guess you get what you pay for.
I'd recommend if you are just looking for a cheaper place to lay your head, that has free parking, hopefully more things work in your room.

Location in the heart of the marina bed was fairly comfortable shower work well
The main problem is the property smells like marijuana and I’m not talking occasionally the whole time I was there I smelled it even in my room at 8:30 in the morning it had a strong smell of marijuana. I don’t know if it’s a long-term guest or just a temporary guest, but someone was smoking a lot of pot ..when I checked out the whole property was smelling like it was in a cloud of marijuana really unpleasant. It’s noisy,the rooms have thin walls if you have anybody on top of you, it’s gonna sound like a herd of elephants. they give you a tiny piece of soap and there’s no hooks to hang your towels. on the plus side they have a microwave and refrigerator.
