Super nice place, new furniture and very nice style. Staff super helpful and always with a smile on their faces. Breakfast option downstairs with good price and the refill water bottle was also a nice addition. It is well located nearby union square and I felt safe overall

Clean rooms. Free water and coffee facilities. Breakfast/coffee bar on site.
Room was on the small size. Inclusion of a desk just took up unnecessary space. If you were travelling for business this would be a very small space.
The plugs by the bed are built into the bedside lamps at the base. There isnt enough to fit a travel adapter so only works for US plugs. There is another charging port on the main table in the room though.

The room was very comfortable and the lobby was beautiful. Also they were ready with food and coffee at 6am in the morning, which I loved!
My only complaint was, the wifi would not connect to my laptop, but they gave me a refund for that, which was very nice of them.

Can't comment as they cancelled our reservation as no show due to flight delays.
We missed our connecting flight due to delays with American Airlines and couldn't get to the hotel on the first night. Despite keeping them informed of our unfortunate circumstances from Phelidelphia airport, we arrived at San Francisco next afternoon to find out the hotel has cancelled our reservation as a no-show & have charged us for the first night. We already had so much stress with flight delay, paying for last minute philly airport hotel to then have to find another place to stay in San francisco & pay more for our booked cab to take us to a different hotel.
I messaged this hotel of the flight issue from Phelidelphia as soon as I could. The least they could have done was to be decent enough not to charge us and not cancel our reservation. After I had already booked into another place, they messaged to say the reservation was not cancelled, causing even more confusion and distress.
I totally agree with having policies, but uncontrollable circumstances such as ours should allow for a little more flexibility. Being human, kind, and generous can go a long way. We ended up paying double for that night. Sadly, we won't recommend this hotel.

The staff was amazing. The decor is very cute.
My front door was adjacent to an atrium that led to the lobby. So I heard noises of people coming in and out all day. My window was right next to a club or a bar or people are coming out and smoking and talking at all hours of the night.

Very pretty place, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, they were very nice with welcome treats and necessary articles for my dogs, the plates that they give you are small portable ones, so its to be considered if your dog is big lol but mine werent so it was perfect.

We had a great stay at Staypineapple. Rooms were a little small but every bit was well thought out and there was plenty of storage. Refillable water bottle and water available 24/7 was really useful as were dressing gowns and charging/ plug in station. Location was great - we could walk everywhere.
Duvet arrangement was a little odd. We sort of got used to the 2 single duvets on the bed but would have preferred a double.

The pineapple theme is really cute and all the little touches are really well done. The free water bottle and welcome drink was a great bonus. Bed is comfortable. The location is pretty central and only a short walk from the trolley.
The room was a fine size for me but I think for two people it might have seemed cramped. Whats odd is the amount of bathroom was huge. I would have preferred a slightly smaller bathroom and more room space.

Central location to quintessential SF sights. Customer service was top notch. Very friendly and personable. Room was aesthetically playfully and comfortable. Lobby area was welcoming and comes with a complimentary beverage.
The exact neighborhood is not one I would want to stroll around but it’s easy to get to other places in the city.

Staff was friendly and helpful under the given conditions. WiFi is also OK.
Hotel overall is OK BUT, no service of even coffee after 2pm. Nothing to eat decent in the Hotel or order from nearby places. Location is central yet, area with lots of homeless people feels dangerous overall. Rooms are very small, and too noisy, the moment another room is in use you hear everything.

Location leaves a little to be desired, while close in Union square it is on the edge of the Tenderloin neighbourhood and there is some over spill. Our room was small, but we were travelling with three weeks worth of luggage so it may of felt more cramped than usual. We did seem to have an excessive amount of dust on top of the wardrobe where we stored some of our excess luggage but it was mostly clean.

The room was so cute and the hotel is very modern feeling although an older building. The staff were friendly and the price point was great, especially as a solo traveller.
I booked thinking it was close to the main tourist area, at times felt unsafe as a solo traveller and I’m pretty savvy but chose not to be wandering around at all in the area at night.
