No coffee maker no microwave. Hard to get at electrical receptors way too few also, not any clothe and towel hooks, and TV should be in front of beds not off to the side, and fridge should be on table not on floor

inexpensive - that's the main thing though that stretch of Lombard is nondescript and kinda rundown, it's within walking distance of Van Ness, Union Street, Fort Mason, etc.

Hotel in very good location - close to the shop, gas station and marina (by foot). Room size enough for two persons - typical american style. Free parking included. Good WiFi speed and easy to connection. Friendly staff. Good for few days staying
Old fashioned and old equipments but this we knew before arrival. Our room without microwave - second (our friends) room had it. Fridge didn't work

Everything. The room was dirty, smelled of mold, walls were paper thin and you could hear a lot of noise from outside. There was barely any lighting in the room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable leaving me with a back ache the day after.

The water for shower and sink got quickly hot--which I like. Ice was available; the bed was comfortable, all the lights worked, and the refrigerator was great. A very nice room in a convenient location: close to the Union St transit hub.

This was a typical American motel, room was comfortable and clean but could do with a bit of a refresh and some TLC. The location was good for us although we did not appreciate how much uphill there is in San Francisco, so walking was not an option. We would recommend Alcatraz and the Big Bus Tour but avoid the Aquarium at Pier 39, the Science Academy in Golden gate Park has a much better Aquarium and lots else to see. Enjoyed the cable car but very crowded.

Despite the fatal situation in San Francisco regarding homelessness and crime, we felt quite safe in the accommodation. Fisherman's Wharf etc. are still easily accessible on foot and also a station of the "Hop on Hop Off" bus is located directly nearby. We could therefore leave our rental car the entire time in the motel parking lot, which is also well lit at night. We would have felt a little safer if there had been a gate with access restrictions to the porperty. Info to all visitors of San Francisco: Please leave your rental cars at the hotel! We unfortunately saw several times ourselves how cars were broken into in the immediate vicinity of us at Fisherman's Wharf. Leave your cars in the parking lot of the motel/hotel and never leave your belongings in the vehicle!
The rooms are a bit older (but clean!). The motel is certain not designed for a "luxury" or "relax" vacation. But it serves its purpose. Tip: Buy a room spray - it settles well on the old carpets and refreshes the entire room.

No microwave in unit even though I asked several times over several days. Every morning the hot water ran out. The ice machine was broken. The windows were previously broken into and didn't close/lock properly. The Internet constantly was intermittent. Car safety was a big issue, a break in happened over night. Crazy people with mental issues yelling in the street.

The location is central, close to many things. Upon arrival we encountered black mold in the bathroom and the room had a very distinctive smell as well. The staff was very nice and helpful and offered us to choose from two other rooms which we liked, so we did. That is much appreciated. The smell remained but at least there was no mold in the one we picked. Beds are comfortable.
It can be ok if you only go there to sleep and go, but the staff is the best thing there I can point out, they really do their best to accommodate guests.
Free parking is a plus.
Could use a full deep clean and renovation.

They couldn't store our luggage while on the booking site they say they can store your luggage. Now you had to walk a long way with all your luggage to store it somewhere else for $5 per bag.
The water in the shower did not drain properly.

The motel was really centrally-located, which was fantastic. To say it was on a main road, it wasn't too noisy whilst I was there. The room was large and the bed was comfortable.
There wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed, it was just a sheet and a mattress protector that didn't fit properly, so when you even just got into bed, it pulled out and moved around. The room was clean but not kept very updated and there were a few things that could have been easily fixed, like the shutters and a couple of the light bulbs needed changing. Only one working socket in the bathroom, which wasn't ideal.

The staff was very friendly and the location of this motel is not that bad. The bathroom was ok.
Honestly it felt like a motel from horror movies, everything in the room was really old. There was someone's hair on my bed sheets, the furniture just felt icky. When we got there we thought of changing the place immediately but it was really late so we stayed. Safe to say I won't be back.

Keycards stopped working after a few hours, and parking lot has limited space (not parking places, but it was small and compact). The shower was not that great.

The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and there was free parking. Nice location and quiet.
The tv did not work. The floor outside of the bathroom was soaking wet and smelled like very strong cleaning solution (had to keep windows cracked the whole time). Plantation style shutters are mostly broken so hotel has them taped shut. Bathroom floor was dirty. No coffee, but there is a shop a couple blocks away.
