the room was spacious and well laid out. Lots of counter space in bathroom, roomy shower and nice desk set-up. Breakfast had lots of items to choose from. Staff was very friendly and professional.
Outside noise. Awakened by loud cars several times thru the night. Bath towels were like old gym towels --- stiff, small and not very absorbent. No cups/glasses other than the paper coffee cups. The room was clean except for some gross "splashes" on the wall---luckily was able to wipe down with wet clothe. Mattress was a not as firm as we prefer.

Very spacious room, it's two rooms in one. Breakfast area was clean and the breakfast was good. The breakfast was opened longer than the time it was supposed to close which was nice. They also had complementary coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate 24/7.
Even though the room was very clean overall, there was a big pink stain on the bathroom door,which I'm sure it was missed when cleaning the room.Front desk was supposed to call my room when they had hot water for tea but never did.The beds were a bit hard

At check-in, the staff was AMAZING. My room wasn't ready after almost a 6 hour drive, so they upgraded us to a room that was ready. When we didn't have a blanket for the pull-out, one was gotten immediately. They were ALWAYS smiling and very friendly.
My car was broken into even though your hotel is in a good part of town. In no way is it the fault of Hamton Inn. Someone through a large rock through my back passenger window. You have video cameras, but the videos don't cover much of the area and of course, I apparently parked where the video didn't capture it. The day manager wasn't very helpful other than giving me the address or compassionate when I was anxious trying to figure out what to do nor about the video situation.

The location. Night security that just walks around.
How deceiving the pictures were of the property. The pool looked huge, and the room I requested was nothing like the pictures. I even called down thinking we got the wrong room. But the front desk said they "don't have the room in a dbl queen." It's whatever just when you think you are getting something you're not. It was over $200 a night, and it was okay. Even the contental breakfast wasn't what it looked like to be. The sausage was slimey, and the cheese in the omelette was cold. I had oatmeal for 3 days. I think they just kept adding water cause by the 3rd day it was soup. So much water. I hope the staff is taught proper cooling if they reuse the oatmeal. Ran out of
apple juice, and coffee. The beds were okay. I would look around more for a better spot the next time I'm in Tucson. The room was clean.

The TV was outdated,they need to upgrade to movie channels. What you have now is unacceptable. Sometimes a person uses the hotel as home base between hospital visits and it would be nice to have that to enjoy and if it comes to choosing between a hotel with updated TV and yours the latter wins .

We did not have the level of housekeeping that we had expected. We stayed four nights and read a notice in the room that we would only get every other day housekeeping service. Even then, the room was not serviced and we needed a night worker to take our trash, replenished towels and toilet paper.

If available get a third floor room on the north side. There are nice views of the Catalinas to look out on. The hotel rooms are updated and modern. The rooms are well insulated and quiet from noise in the evening from other rooms. The beds are comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It is a solid hotel albeit a little expensive for perhaps what it is. We did utilize the excercise room which we enjoyed and sat by the pool which was fair. Breakfast was fair, the attendant though very nice. One day they didn't have milk, but no big deal. For quick meals there is a Cane's Chicken place and a Hawaiian Brothers grille right next to hotel which we enjoyed.
We unfortunately did have trouble with the washers and dryers, needing help from front desk with washer, eventually losing money in the dryer. Not wanting to bother the front desk again. We managed and ended up hang drying the clothes. We found the thermostats a bit finicky in the rooms, perhaps too regulated? Not sure. But it was March, the weather was pleasant, and room temperature was certainly acceptable.
