Breakfast meals tasted great! The pools were nice. Staff was polite!

One waitress needed more training in the restaurant. Served us hot chocolate that was cold. My grandson spilt it because the cup was really heavy for him. She never topped our coffee, we asked another waitress on shift. She tried to take our extra ticket when we only had three meals because our one grandchild only ate my toast. Waitress was a bit scattered. The woman that served us the day before for breakfast was a phenomenal server. She was absolutely incredible. Gave her a good tip!

Great hotel, would recommend. Two parts with restaurant in other side and room across the skywalk. No problem really.

Tried to cross to other part at ground level and needed to cross busy side road. Not a good idea. Best to stick with skywalk.

First I didn't like it at all, I chose the hotel based on the distance to another facility that was cancelled, but I could not cancel the hotel stay (it was never an option). But once I moved to the next hotel downtown I figured this first one wasn't too bad after all.

The upgraded room I paid extra $30 for was in the very old building in front of the hallway facing the pool, so it was pretty noisy during the day and there was that chlorine smell in the room.

The hotel was quiet and rooms were nice too. I enjoyed the toiletries provided, found the quality of TV and other room amenities to meet my expectations. Although there is a pool in the hotel, there was not a sight of any chlorine smells which is exactly what I would expect from hotels but often not the case.

Would have liked to have found an extra flannel blanket in the closet. One of our rooms air conditioners was not working properly, the temperature in the room wasn't terribly hot but a cooler room is best for optimal sleeping.

View from room and amenities in room. Loved the bathroom. Bed was comfy. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Noise from constant air flow which you could not turn off and vibration and noise from roof top HVAC (on top floor where I was), was annoying. Fire Doors from stairwells did not all close by themselves. Stairwells are in need of a good scrubbing.

The staff was so great and very helpful with everything we needed. It’s been a long time since Ive stayed in a hotel where everyone was very attentive and treated us like important guests! The restaurant was amazing! Both the atmosphere and delicious elevated menu. Not the usual boring unhealthy options usually offered. Also our waitress was above and beyond. We also needed to store some freezer items and the staff immediately said “of course we can do that for you!” I will never stay anywhere else when visiting south Calgary.

For my purposes, visiting my daughter who lives in south Calgary, the location was excellent. I did not use any of the facilities such as the pool, so can't really comment on that, apart from the fact that they were available. My room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast, in the lobby area of the main building, was good and reasonably priced. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

My room was in the Atrium Building and faced into the interior of the building, so was quite dark. In the mornings it could be quite noisy due to the sound of people in the lobby area reverberating up through the open centre of the building. The Wi-fi was only free if you are a Marriott-Bonvoy member.

Staff was very accommodating and so friendly!! They were all welcoming and did an amazing job! The restaurant (sage and Co.) Was SUPER GOOD! The food tasted so good and the presentation was spot on!

The pool area was DIRTY! There was garbage all around the hot tub. (A empty pizza box, used napkins amoung other things) and it was there from when we went to the pool till when we left. Also the pool was over crowded and there was a bunch of teens throwing footballs in the pool...1 ended up hitting my 7 year old and myself in the face. The water slide had kids going down with the intention of trying to hit the previous person either on the way down or at the bottom (with themselves) They ended up land on 1 little girl who got hurt. The pool chlorine was very intense. My eyes were beet red and burning after...I didn't even go under the water! The pool was VERY disappointing and it's one of the main reasons we booked that hotel above others.
