Desk clerk moved very slowly through check-in process, but was pleasant and did the job. He did tell us that the desk clerk coming on the next morning had years of experience if we had any questions. And that second desk clerk was very good - questions, bus passes. Breakfast staff person was wonderful. helpful and nice person. Very nice room and bed, good window darkening, fridge, big bathroom.
On second evening, room with couch smelled slightly musty or maybe cigarettes. Unpleasant and a little disconcerting that our room suddenly smelled. Only two bag carts. Not enough when people are checking out. Found that price was higher than some in Old Quebec. I had booked weeks ago, but prices had changed since. Not the hotel's fault I guess.

The rooms are clean.
Location is very bad (outside of the tourist area) and the breakfast is horrible. Eggs are pre packed in some foil and there is no cooling table for the cheese (pre packed) and butter. Not sure how hygienic this is

The room was spacious and so confortable. The decor of the room was wonderful...not too cluttered., modern furniture. The window was spacious and the drapes was clean and added to the decor of the room. Bathroom was perfect, clean, spacious and lots of towels.
The breakfast was not not worth the price. Very boring and did not reflect the charm and quaintness of Quebec city. I also think that the evening desk clerks should be more knowledgeable about restaurants, distance and directions to the major attractions, , ( The day clerks were excellent and most helpful .)

Location in great. Walking to the old town was easy and pleasant. It was very convenient to get public transportation. Walking to the train station was easy and straightforward with luggage. I found breakfast was no fuss, you see what you see. The room was spacious with high ceiling made the stay comfortable. The bathtub was a little slippery and the shower head needed to have the screw tightened. The rug in the room was small and caused tripping problems. The closet doors were not on track, and was not easy to open and close. Overall I had a nice stay.

Large clean rooms. Great restaurants on St Joseph Street behind the hotel. Nice location to walk to town and near bus lines. Friendly staff.
Lounge area - could add a few comfortable chairs instead of the hard breakfast chairs. Housekeeping was minimal. Heard noise in the room above.

The location is superb, very central to downtown, restaurants, activities, transportation and the highway. The rooms are very clean. Free bus passes was a welcome surprise.
The front lobby is difficult to load luggage because there's a step and no ramp from the sidewalk. The lobby and the breakfast are very underwhelming in contrast to the rooms. Neighbourhood looks sketchy. Shower pressure was not strong enough.

The room was clean the staff was friendly and the perks of a free bus pass was an exceptionally great surprise. Location is close to activities and old city and restaurants.
The breakfast was underwhelming as was the hotel lobby. But the neighborhood looks a little sketchy. Wouldn't have my teenager walk through alone. There's a step in front of the hotel that makes it hard to take luggage in. A ramp would help. Shower pressure was not great.

Parking was slightly annoying, jumping out of the car, walking to intersection, crossing street, walking back to hotel to open the garage door... Lights were very oddly placed in the hotel room.. Could hear noise coming from other rooms/halls until 2am. It would have been nice to have an option for tea in the room.

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful.
Location was sketchy as there were so many homeless people who were just outside our window.
They were quite loud in the middle of the night and it was difficult to sleep.
We had our dog with us and we were afraid to go outside after dark.
Kitchen was nice, but missing a few important articles, such as a toaster and glasses.

The elevator was not working but I was informed after I booked. The hotel made accommodation to put us to 2nd floor to make it easy to walk up the stairs.

the room was very nice and well decorated, I am sure the hotel will look great after rennovations! Statt was nice when we complaint about the elevator not working and they tried to offer a solution, the girl at the reception was very nice! beds were comfortable and there were a few nice cafes and resturants walking distance and a 18$parking just next to the hotel (not the one offered by the hotel).
Hotel was going trhough huge rennovations with the elevator not working and we were not informed when we booked. When we arrived, after a very long trip and with a 1 year old child, we showed our disappointment and we were told IT WAS WRITTEN ON BOOKING. Since we booked the hotel months before, we would not check for new infos every day and I feel like they should have called us/messaged us to tell us that we would need to walk up 3 floors of stairs with our luggage and a baby, we would obviousely choose another hotel! The manager talked to us and was nice but still,didn't fixed our issue (he gave us 2 bottles of water..)No breakfast room or lounge area available also,due to rennovations. The area is quite dodgy with a lot of homeless and people asking for money just in fron of the hotel.Old Quebec City is about 20mins walking.Cleaning was not great either: when our room got cleaned, coffee was replaced but dirty cups were left as they were in the room until the next day.

The room was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have stayed at! The location is also fantastic and very well connected via bus, and also not too far from Old city by foot.
If I had to nitpick, the room service wasn't up to the standard set by the hotel. Coffee cups wouldn't be cleaned, and towels won't be changed.

We were traveling by motorcycle. When making a reservation, I wrote that I would need a parking spot for a large motorcycle.. I paid them $50 for parking, then they sent me to an underground parking structure. I did not notice that motorcycles were banned there until I my motorcycle was trapped against an automatic door at the bottom of a steep ramp. Friendly strangers eventually showed up to help me pull the motorcycle up away from the door. Desk staff at hotel did not seem to think this was a problem.

Comfortable beds, lots of seating areas, lighting.
The hotel lobby and restaurant were under renovation but we were well informed of this before we checked in. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.
The hotel was a 25-30 minute walk to old Quebec City. Something I didn’t mind but the other group we were with wasn’t keen on. No parking associated with the hotel. You had to park in nearby (one or two blocks away) city parking lots.

Great location, friendly service staff, very nice and comfortable room. Walking distance to the city centre, bus stop nearby. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is also close by.
The entrance, the reception and the restaurant were under renovation. This information was disclosed, but only after the booking was conducted. In fact, this was not disturbing the stay in the room, however was not comfortable moving in and out.

The staff who does care if the room is arranged completely or not. He said that he is not responsible for room maintenance. We booked for 2 twin beds and only one bed was arranged. There is no parking and no courtesy from the hotel to guide us to a paid parking.
