Excellent location very central and close to everything. Very friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned and tidied daily, we were 3 adults and 2 kids and made a mess in our room however it was beautifully fixed every day. Perfect for a few days of stay and great value for money.
It is close to a lot of bars so except loud people late in the night on weekends on the streets! Otherwise a fridge would have been nice but everything else was great.

Excellent location right in the old city - we could walk to central attractions, restaurants and bars in just a few minutes. Service was quick and friendly, and we felt well looked after. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.
It's a bit of an old fashioned style room, with no fridge or proper coffee + tea making facilities. We could use a small kettle but there were only plastic cups. It was unfortunately extremely hot and while our room did have a small portable air con, having the AC on meant leaving a window open - and on one night, some neighbours were making noise well after 11 pm.

The location was really interesting and globaly the room was clean.
One of the worst welcome ever lived and the air conditionner was really noisy so much we had to turn it off during night with 30 degrees...
We anticipate our arrival and warn about the hour of arrival several hours before.When we arrived, it was difficult to find the reception. Nobody at the reception, no phone number, no ring not even a chair to wait. I had to knock to several door to finally find the host that seemed unhappy to see me. The same at the departure so after 10 minutes lost we leave the key on the reception desk.
For the air conditionner a cheap one that is installed in the middle of the room so noisy that impossible to hear the tv even at maximum sound level. A big pipe that link the AC to a hole done within a window making the room look very sad.

We needed something convenient for single a night.
The person from reception was never in the hotel. We arrived to Trieste 30min before check in time (2pm) and had to call him two times to come to open the door for us. We were not welcome to check in at that time, although he finally agreed.
At check out the same thing: noone was there and we had to wait to be able to give back the keys and store our luggage for a while.
We just found it uncomfortable every time we had to interact with reception.

We had a great time in Trieste staying in Hotel Capitelli we were greeted by a friendly gentleman working in reception who gave us all information that we needed. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had everything you could need over all I would stay here again and recommend.

Located right in the city center, in a beautiful district full of charming cafés and small restaurants. A perfect base for exploring Trieste. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return!

Our room in small, very old building, but was conformable enough, very clean. Noisy airconditioner is helpful during the day. The manager kind, helpful, easy to reach. Parking in public garage 5,6 min walking distance. I paid little more then 20 euros for cca 18 hours stay. The price of hotel afordable.
Generally hotel needs renovation. But has its charm. My third time here, and will come again

A nice hotel in the old building in the old part of the city, on the hill, close to the city center; with restaurants and shops close to it. No elevator and quite steep stairs, but the host kindly offered us to have another room on the ground floor because of that if we'd like.
We had a room with the window on the street - and the streets around weren't the quietest ones in the evening. Not a fault of the hotel though, just be aware if you like to go to bed early.

This is a good hotel. Easy but good. It is very near to eveything. We liked it. We stayed so much hotels before but it was new for us that the elevator opened in the room. The children really liked it. :) The staff was friendly.
