I think I selected this property on the basis of location and price. I did not expect to be bowled over by the highly original decor in both the public and private areas. Our room was spacious and well-equipped. The staff were all very helpful and efficient. It was a joy to stay in this hotel.
Next door to the hotel is a great restaurant 'Buffet Birreria da Rudy'. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, the atmosphere rowdy but down-to-earth and fun. It is so popular that you will miss out on a table if you fail to make a reservation as we learned to our dismay when we wanted to return there to dine after the first great experience.

There was no refrigerator in the room. The place where you put your suitcase had lights facing up from the floor, this made it difficult to actually see into one's suitcase. Maybe just my room but the shower room door - unless it was pushed fully closed would open slowly. This meant that if you had just had a shower and were standing at the sink, the cool metal handle of the door could make you jump when it touched your skin.

Friendly and helpful staff, room was nice and clean, seems that they renovated pretty recently. Location was pretty near to the city center. Appreciated message from the property with tips where to park our car near the hotel. A welcome drink was offered upon our arrival, which was a nice touch.
It was probably due to the renovations, but there was a hole cut out in one of the walls which kinda broke the luxury feel of the hotel. The room could have been air conditioned before arrival, it took pretty long to cool down to a comfortable temperature.

If the teething issues were resolved then would recommend it as a nice, friendly.and comfortable hotel.
Newly renovated part of the bigger Forvum hotel. We thought it was style over substance due to few things wrong which we wouldn't have expected to be the case based. Main door was fiddly, bathroom glass door cracked, socket on the wall fell apart (this was promptly fixed however).
Even the toiletries shelf was incorrectly installed meaning if you touched them, then everything falls on the floor.

The property is currently being renovated and so it detracts from the ambiance. The location is between the main centre of Trieste and the train and bus stations which is convenient but less attractive than closer to the centre.

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at FORVM bijoux ROOMS in central Trieste. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, quiet, cozy and well-equipped with a comfortable bed.
The staff were incredibly helpful, offering excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Trieste.
There was a slight smell from the pipes in the bathroom. While not overwhelming, it was noticeable.

It was an excellent stay, the feeling and welcome of the Italia gesture. The Room was absolutely fantastic, Bathroom was excellent, with huge space for 2 pax with a double sink, big Rain Shower and provided Towels , we were kindly asked b4 our 2nd night if we need to refresh our room but kindly respectful declined but thanked the staff a lot for asking as not needed. The Beds Quality & comfort was perfectly cosy, the area of the Hotel is just walking distance to the inner city and several Shops and sights of the City & max. 10mins walk to the Central Bus/Railway Terminal of Trieste Centrale. Extremely nice hotel, which is only a short walk (under 3 min.) to one of the main squares in the city, Ponte Rosso.
The room was super spacious, clean, quiet, had all of the mentioned amenities, and had a really nice interior. It looks the same, if not even better, than in the photos. It was easily accessible with the elevator, but the double doors (to the floor and to the room) made us feel really secure in our room.
The breakfast was Γ la carte, tasty, and huge, we could not eat everything.
Thank you to the amazing staff that took care of us and allowed us to enter our room before the usual check-in time, as well as give us some great recommendations for the city!

Check in instructions would have been helpful. I stood on the road for 10 minutes not knowing how to enter the building, with no phone number to call and no response to my message in Booking. It is not intuitive to press the button on the wall because it looks like a piece of hardware on the sign - it is actually a call button that unlocks the door but I did not know this. I saw a delivery driver make the same mistake so it must be common confusion.
Also, the bed is extremely firm, in fact you could call it hard. I slept fine but my husband slept poorly.
