St Maurice Beach Inn - Hollywood

The beach is only 1 minutes' walk from St Maurice Inn. Located in Hollywood, Florida, this accommodations offers free WiFi access to guests. Every room is 2 minutes' walk from Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.

A number of restaurants are located within 2 minutes' walk of the accommodations. Each room provides a cable TV and air conditioning. Complete with a microwave and refrigerator.

Private bathrooms also come with a bath or shower. St. Maurice Beach Inn is nonsmoking and pet free throughout.

A government issued ID and a credit card $100 hold security deposit are mandatory upon checking in. The credit card must match the guest's name in the provided ID. We do not take cash deposits, prepaid cards or Apple pay.

No exceptions. The check in office closes at 9 pm, all guests checking in later than 9 pm must call the office on the same day of arrival to receive instructions for a late check in. If the guest does not get in touch with the hotel, it will be considered a no show, and no refunds will be issued.

No exceptions. To avoid issues with parking we suggest that you take a taxi/uber/lyft to the hotel. If you are driving yourself please plan for additional time as parking can be limited during peak hours.

City of Hollywood parking permits can be purchased for $22/day using the QR code that we provide at check-in, permits are valid for street parking or in the parking garage located between Garfield and Connecticut St. An alternative option is to park in the Margaritaville parking Garage directly across from us, they will charge either $4/hour or $43 for 24 hours. Please be careful when checking-in, the parking lot directly behind us on the West side of the hotel is a privately owned lot and they ticket or boot your car within minutes.

Please park on the side of the street in front of the hotel to check-in and drop your bags off. The front office is located on the corner of North Surf Rd. and Michigan St.

Michigan St. is a one-way street, so from A1A, you must take Indiana St. (2 streets south of Michigan St.

) then to North Surf Rd., and the office is 2 streets down on the left.

Location was fantastic. Approximately 150 steps to the beach. There are dozens of shops, restaurants and bars within a 3 minute walk. The bandstand, which had free music every night except Monday and Tuesday, was a 1 minute walk away. They had a few (older and rusty) bikes available to use for free. There were a couple of beach chairs in the room. The bed was comfy and the room was clean enough. Staff was nice and helpful.

The property is older and furnishings a little tired.

Later we saw in the ratings that we were not the first ones with this experience. The toilet is just in front of the wall, impossible for a taller person! The stuff at this time was not very friendly. It seems the owner has no other interest than making money..

Perfect location, a few feet away from the beach and the Hollywood Broadwalk, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Staff was helpful. They provide beach towels and folding chairs for the beach.

this is a great location right on the beach! Ive stayed multiple places and this is up there for location. Be careful of which unit you get. it seems theyre trying to update them but some have been done and some not. we were first put into number 2 that hadnt been cleaned and was a little scary looking. we were moved to number 6 single unit and 3(the 2 bedroom) those were nice. they have boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas providing guests can be respectful and bring them back. some of the staff were over the top nice but asking the cleaning lady for towels was like pulling teeth. the young front desk gal put her personal phone call above my service and didnt even put the phone down from her face to finish the conversation with me. I think she smoked a doobie in there but my only problem with that was she didnt ask me if I wanted some. if we are in the area we would stay again. I didnt see not one single roach or bug in our room and thats important to us. Im going to clarify we were only here 1 night so we didnt utilize dishes and such, Im not even sure what they had to offer as we didnt need them.

some units need some updating. stay out of unit 2, the floor was only laminate that you can see has been wet and peeling time and time again. Im sure its clean like the other but it appears to have a very run down look.

The resort is located on the beach. You see and hear the waves from the front door.

No parking, up on arrival as we were checking in, my car got booted by the parking lot ranger and I had to pay $75 to remove the boot. While still having to pay $21 for the day's parking. Overall, of you're traveling without a car, great location for you, however, if you own a car do some research on parking prior to booking this location.

Location, location, location. Steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. Cute courtyard area. Efficient, friendly staff. About what I expected at this price. Fellow residents were quiet and didn't keep me up.

WiFi was really poor, so I would not recommend for digital nomads. Also, the $100 hold happened twice, but both came off at the end. I also had a problem with the shower head my first night, but the maintenance guy fixed it first thing in the morning.

location was what I was looking for. We were staying at the Margaritaville hotel right next door for (3) of the (5) nights in Hollywood. Was looking for someplace close by to stay

television didn't work with the remotes provided, There was a 3/4" gap under the door (room 47). The refrigerator didn't work and smelled. No place to place the luggage, had to store it on the floor, no luggage racks provided. First room had nowhere to hang our cloths, no closet in the room (room 37)

Denise on reception was great and very helpful. Parking sounds like it's going to be difficult, but it's actually a good deal at $22 via the hotel app for 24 hours, either on the street or in a garage 10 minutes walk away. Location is great for restaurants etc.

People can be noisy if they are partying in the communal area outside the rooms! It only happened one night, but in the early hours...

Absolutely nothing good to say here. Other than Andrew at check in this property and staff was by far the worst experience Ive had in my life.

Everything! The a/c in the room did not work. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fan because my 3 year old was not able to sleep in these conditions. When I asked for a different room the front desk agent came to my room and had the audacity to tell me that our a/c was perfectly fine. Mind you the a/c read E8 on the digital screen. E8 means ERROR, E8 is not a temperature!!! She insisted that it was working perfectly fine even argued with me about it. The whole time it was cooler outside then inside my room. Hows that even possible in the middle of the summer in south Florida? Then for the final blow, the front desk agent not only argued with me and raised her voice she came with the most disrespectful line by saying that I was just trying to get something for free how?!?! When I had already prepaid for my stay? All I wanted was a room with a working a/c. This woman should not be in the hospitality industry and should probably not be working around people. She was very disrespectful and confrontational and I wish I would have got her name because I will not describe her physical appearance as to not come off disrespectful.

It was very afordable, the location was excellent, the beach was across the street, my room was small but clean, the kitchen area had some dishes and silverware and a small refrigerator.

Parking sucked! You have to pay daily for parking anywhere down by the beach ($20+), so it is not the hotels fault. But this was the one drawback or negative thing about my stay.
