I did like the downtown location but most wouldn't because of the many homeless about the area. All the staff was very nice and the pool area was neat with a nice working hot tub (that they call a jacuzzi, to the point they insist they don't have a hot tub)
Room was tiny. Toilet was a tiny glass box in the room with no solid walls. ZERO privacy for sight or sound. AC didn't work, bed was awful and lumpy. I mean the bed was really bad. I could even clearly hear a couple in the room next door get "together" for a few minutes. The the rooms are awful. This isn't opinion stuff these are facts.

A nice hotel. The rooms are quite small, but the beds are very comfortable. The hotel has a heated rooftop pool and a nice gym. Breakfast is rather American-style. We stayed one night and it was nice.
I suggest adding more vegetables for breakfast, more European breakfasts are better

It was less than the other nice hotels we considered. Breakfast was really good and waitress was very nice.
Small beds, no room privacy, thin walls. Beds too high for elderly, lights came on by themselves, no answer from front desk when I tried to get help. Very meager accommodations for the price we paid. Steps at entrance, had to drag luggage up them, no ramp. View of dumpsters and construction in the room. Very loud.

Modern hotel, next to the Bayside market place.
You can you a free sunbed at the Boucher Brotherโs South beach 5th Steet, that was a nice extra.
As this is Miami, next door neighbours played music until 4am.
Otherwise would be a quiet hotel.
Receptionist wonโt do anything extra for example give any information about the hotel.

We arrived early 10:30am asked if room might be available early but no problem waiting if not, informed no but they would call if one opened up for us so went to breakfast and were contacted 45 minutes later and provided early check in (not expected we were thrilled) ! Our bags had been stored (free if staying at property).
Check in process was seamless and we received a nice room on floor 11. The gal checking us in actually brought our bags to us with 15 minutes. Room 1114 was provided initially It has strong smell of bleach .. so we just opened door for a bit for it to dissipate- we appreciate the room was disinfectant. It was compact as all described . ALL the room provisions were provided (beach towels, bath mat, full set of bath towels, hand towels , wash cloths, water glasses, an expected small cold fridge, bedding clean , nice pillows- nothing amiss or lacking!! per some bad prior reviews we were not sure what to expect. We booked for pre cruise stay for one night.
Likes: staff, check in, room, bed /pillows, quiet room, comfortable adjustable temperatures and fans, little fridge, water/ice on floor, paid for included breakfast , coffee/food/ wait staff/ easy check out no line and 10:30 am with wonderful Jennifer Uva helpful/ baggage storage until Uberpuck up at 2 pm, use of pool lounge area after check out.

We were already aware the room would be compact and toilet cubicle and shower cubicle of frosted glass provided no real privacy- we travel world wide so this did not bother us as very common in Spain etcโฆ some may be uncomfortable rx send roommate on walkabout for a bit if needed lol!

the location is very convenient. Check in and Check out were very quick. Allison from the staff was very nice, as well as the ladies that helped us during check in and check out, as well as the male guy at the front desk on the afternoon of march 14th who had to go upstairs to talk directly to the housekeeping office after our constant complaints about the deficient housekeeping.
We expected a larger room. The bathroom and toilet are in a glass are inside the room, with a light detector that turned on the lights of the toilet every time you sat or tried to get up from bed at night, and that would wake up my partner. The room was clean but on the second night they came very late and cleaning wasnยดt done correctly. There floor had some garbage that fell from a bag . They didnยดt clean the shower or toilet. We complained on the morning by 9 am. The ladies at the front desk wrote something on the computer and assured us that they would send someone to do the cleaning. At 4.00 pm the room wasnยดt clean so we got back to front desk: the lady wrote a message on the computer and told us to call or come back if after 5 minutes no one showed. We tried to call and the call wouldnยดt go thru. We found 2 maids and they told us our room wad to be cleaned by another coworker, not them. So, I went back to the front desk and thankfully the guy there went upstairs to the housecleaning office and finally by 5.00 pm the room was cleaned. It seems that no one cares..they just write on the computer a message that no one reads. One day at the breakfast we asked for a spoon for the coffee since there were only big spoons....the waitress told us that that was the only spoons available. My partner asked another lady of the staff and she brought some coffee stirrers. After that the waitress who had denied us help came in with the ticket (breakfast was included) and "kindly" asked for a tip (which we didnยดt give her). The mattress is unconfortable. And lastly, they have a coffee maker on the room so first night we called asking for coffee and mugs. The lady at the phone was gentle, but coffee and mugs never came . After 1 hour,fortunately, we found a maid on the hallway and she helped us out. We learned that coffee and mugs or cups are not included so the coffee maker seems to be useless item.

This stay was an excellent value for money. You can't get a decent hotel in Toronto for less than $300 CAD/night, and I paid $250 CAD for this room. It was big, bed was super comfortable and staff were able to hold my bags until check-in. I used the pool, which is nice that it's covered but still outside. Hot tub was great and it was nice to have a bar area near the pool. Vacation vibes are really going there so it started my vacay off right. There are some great bars/restaurants in the area and quick walk to Bayview. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The location is extremely convenient, very central and close to everything, which made getting around incredibly easy. Right in front of the hotel, thereโs access to the free Metromover, which allows you to move freely throughout downtown. There are also plenty of buses passing through the area, making transportation even more accessible.
The pool area is fantastic, we really enjoyed spending time there, and the day beds included at Miami Beach were a highlight for us!!!
Breakfast was good could definitely be improved. The size of the room was a bit tiny but fine for short stays.

The rooms were large with a fridge, safe, hair products, iron and hairdryer.
The location is great, 5 minutes from Bayside market with lots of food/ drink options. McDonald's, 711 and CVS are all 2 minute walk away.
We stayed here for a cruise and took the free trolley to the terminal - the stop is at the end of the street.
We had a room on the second floor at the front, it was a little loud in the late evening however it didn't stop us sleeping once settled.
