Traveled for medical procedure. It was within walking distance to hospital. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staff were pleasant and professional - dealing with unhappy people.
Booked for location and indoor pool. Pool was not heated to a reasonable temperature, so it was unusable in January, and there was no posted notice, just "sorry" from staff. The hot tub was working but jets were broken. Portland was experiencing an ice storm and parking lot was dangerous. If you parked in the covered parking you couldn't get out because the ramp was not sanded or de-iced. If you parked in uncovered lot your car was frozen into the spot and drive area was not cleared. Barely keeping area cleared in front of the entry door. Portland has frequent winter ice events and one would have thought that IHG would have an emergency PLAN and MATERIALS. Need some lessons from the east coast.

The staff was so exceptional! I am very impressed and will definitely stay here again! I needed an outlet outside to plug in a heater in my vehicle, and they went above and beyond to make it work. The breakfast was really good. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Usually they are too mushy. I also like the security of the front door being locked and only key card accessible.
The location is more in a business area, not much in the way of places to eat. And alot of tents and homeless around.

Nice people, clean room, very comfortable beds! Free parking is a big plus. Especially I would give a high rating for the girl at night shift. I asked for some water in the lobby at night and she managed to help me right away. They have underground parking which is secure. Like their breakfast, too! I stayed there twice in one week. Glad to do that. Waking distance to many restaraunts, to my surprise.
Nothing to complain

Great location, restaurants and breweries within a couple minute walk. Easy access to the highway. Breakfast being included was nice and it was typical hotel eats. Others have mentioned the neighborhood seems run down but it felt safe the entire time we were there and our vehicle was undisturbed in the parking area.
Room cleanliness could be addressed better. Mold on the shower curtain and ceiling above the shower. Other than that the room was comfortable and the beds were excellent.

The beds we’re comfortable.
The location was horrible. Had to get on the freeway to go anywhere. We were relying on the sofa sleeper for 2 of our guests. However there was no bedding in the room. We asked at the front desk and they sent up 1 blanket and left it at the door. No pillows, sheets, etc.

Smells full of weed and the carpets are very dirty. I mean very. Can’t get around then smell of weed anywhere - elevators or room. Not for staying with kids. Reception Staff is really really good. Very friendly and courteous. Helpful when we asked about cancellation. Everyone else at breakfast or somewhere - don’t expect service or courtesy.

Breakfast was way above average for a "chain" hotel free breakfast. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Lady who checked us in (July 8 around 5:30 pm) was very welcoming and professional.
The area is semi-industrial but close to an "uppity" area. Great location near freeways, but you probably want to use your car for any sightseeing - not a place for strolling too far into the neighborhood in the "wrong" direction - just make sure you're going the "right" direction. But still a good place to stay.

Clean and comfortable room.
Was given a room on the second floor facing a wall — not only no view whatsoever, which we had had in all our previous visits, but only the tiniest patch of sky visible at the very top. Quite depressing.
The breakfast was unimpressive, and not replenished properly.

Location was excellent for our needs. Room was very clean and tidy. Furnishings were updated and in good repair. Bathroom features and provisions (soap, etc.) were better than average. Beds were very comfortable. General facility was well maintained. Pool and hot tub very nice. Free parking was a plus in an urban location.
Breakfast service was disappointing and not what we expected - Staff did not have adequate food prepared for the times advertised, coffee service was poor with coffee running out and not promptly being refreshed. Food quality was marginal - eggs tasteless, sausage not browned, gravy was pasty and no waffle maker - Fruit selection was limited and milk was self serve from unsanitary, open quart containers (no individually sized milk, or a milk dispenser). Also, staff was knowledgeable and helpful, but inconsistently pleasant and friendly. Rooms lacked modern electronic charging stations with multiple USB type plugins - we had to work a sort of 'homemade' solution to setting up our charger blocks and cords.
