The Silver Cloud Hotel was in a great location. There were some great restaurants near the Hotel. Also we went to a great french pastry shoppe close to the hotel too. The staff was helpful too.
We had to move to another room when we first got to the hotel, since someone in another room was smoking. I have asthma and smoking bothers me. The hotel has a no smoking policy. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to the 4th floor where there was no smoking smell. The staff investigated the second floor where someone was smoking. A suggestion I have is: When people get their key card, maybe the hotel can remind them that this is a no-smoking hotel.

This is a lovely hotel near a park and Nob Hill with free parking. The room was large and very nice, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very walkable. They had a nice bar/restaurant and the staff were exceptionally nice and accomodating.

Our room was a bit dusty. Also lacked some of the usual products ( soap, shampoo, etc) as if it was not thoroughly cleaned and restocked after last guests.

Staff is extremely friendly! Free parking is a plus. The rooms are very spacious and clean. My boyfriend is 6’4 and had no trouble moving around in the room. There are plenty of options for dining and snacking around the neighborhood, and it feels safe to stroll around.
I’m not sure if a guest had their dog with them or if a dog was outside, because I could hear a dog barking intermittently in the evening and morning of my stay. Walls are a bit thin, but nothing a little TV noise or ear plugs can’t fix.

The hotel was located really close to the freeway which made for easy access and a view of the bridge. The neighborhood was nice and pretty quiet. When we arrived, we got a free room upgrade. The room was spacious and had a small sink with dinnerware, soap, and a sponge which I thought was very nice!
Parking was an ease, their parking garage had lots of space. They had both stair access and elevator access—depending on where you enter it was easy to get to our room or a walk down the hall.

Our room was comfortable. The bed was king sized and very comfortable. The room was good overall. Very clean and a good shower. We didn't hear any noise except for minor walking overhead. The bar and restaurant were great! Our bartender was excellent and friendly. Our drinks and starter hit the spot. We didn't have a full meal but we enjoyed the ambiance and what we did imbibe.

Location, young and hip Nob Hill neighborhood is just 10 min walk away. Safe neighborhood. On site parking.
Mildew in the bathroom, carpet floor in the room doesn’t seem well cleaned, didn’t hear vacuum cleaner working when the cleaning staff cleaned the next room and saw dust in the room corners where the floor meets the wall, some leftover dirty dishes were left outside the room across the hall from the night to the next morning 11am, there’s still no one to pick it up. The restaurant downstairs put up a sign which says it is closed until 3pm due to staff shortage which means you have to go out and seek breakfast elsewhere.

This is our second stay at this property and the staff are lovely, Brayden checked us in both times and followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was good. The location is easy to access from highway, and easy access to public transit. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and walkable with plenty of nice restaurants, shopping, coffee, etc. The free on site parking also makes this spot a value.

Friendly staff, good sized room, and well located to all the fun shops and restaurants on NW 23rd.
The bathroom door was very difficult to open. We should have notified the front desk- but didn’t want to deal with the arrangements it might take to have it remedied. It was probably an easy fix, so that’s on me!
