We really enjoyed the outdoor patio with fire pit and blankets, included breakfast, on-site parking, and the walk in closet in our room!
I thought the $75 dog fee was quite pricey especially since there was nothing in the room like dog bowls or a dog bed. We stayed at 3 other hotels in the Cali area that only cost $15-$20 for our dog and that included dog bowls and a dog bed. This might be worth some consideration in the future.

The vibe of the place and the friendliness of the staff was phenomenal. Barbecue night was a nice surprise and the property felt very safe. The complementary breakfasts were perfect. Check out time was much more relaxed and realistic than most properties.

I had booked the hotel because Booking stated it had parking . The hotel did not have parking onsite. We had to use a garage nearby (30$) .

-Stayed 3nights , location is great close proximity to food, laundry , tourist sites and transport, area feels very safe even at night.
- 3 of the 4 staff we encountered were lovely, friendly and helpful with directions/recommendations and information.
-Breakfast pastries and cereal were included which is appreciated especially at the price point.
- ironing board and in room coffee machine
-Outdoor sitting area was a cool cozy spot to have a morning coffee. Didn’t use the pool but it looked well maintained/clean.
-Fold out sofa bed was beyond terrible even for the kids (8&10 YO) . mattress is super thin and zero tension in base so all sunk to the middle. (Main bed was fine, kids ended up sharing the main room and hubby on floor by night 3)
-poorly planned , small bathroom space …the door doesn’t open all the way as it hits the toilet as pictured ..feels very tight. Shower was fine for me and kids but bit tight space for hubby.
- no ceiling lights, there are only lamps in the room

All the staff in reception were welcoming.
Breakfast was a small table in reception. To eat you either ate outside or in your room. There were no hot options.
The room felt dirty and smelled damp. We had a family room and it was so cramped. We had to put the rollaway bed away just to get out of the room. As you had breakfast in your room (it was too cold to eat outside) there was no space for us to eat.

Easy check in. Cool motel vibe. In general, good value for SF standards.
- old hotel smell in the room. The carpets and walls have seen things.
- shutters absolutely useless shielding against light, especially the overwhelming flashlight from the courtyards. Just why.
- facilities and furniture feel flimsy, outdated, partly broken or of bad quality (our toilet flush hardly worked, broken parts of the cupboard, flimsy bathroom shelf, shutters get stuck easily, elevator quite dirty)
- reality and expectations from the pictures and description did not really match, it looks a lot more modern and convenient than it is in reality (even taking into account that this is normal for advertising, of course)

Location was great, in an interesting neighbourhood close to lots of good cafes, restaurants and pubs. Easy public transport. Having a pool is a bonus. Bed is comfortable, and staff friendly and helpful.
shower pressure was low so hard to get what I would call a good shower! good that breakfast provided but very limited. some fruit would be good.

Easy to come and go. The location and cleanliness were most important. Also lovely to have front desk personnel to greet us and help with information! Nice touches like the mural and blankets by the fire pit. Great coffee shops and shopping two blocks away. Walked down to the ocean front.
Even though pastries were from a local bakery, not that great! And nice to have and eat on the patio. Fire pit wasn't on but it being Halloween, understand. Interesting that the closet was huge and the shower pretty small!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. I loved the outdoors firepit, heaters and chairs with blankets. They had corn hole to play, plus bikes to rent if you wanted. It was extremely clean and comfortable in the room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Definitely booking here again.

I hadn't realised this was a motel, being called 'hotel', but it was quite fun to experience. The bed was very comfortable and everything had been cleaned. The central area with seating is nice
The rooms are in big need of a refresh, patched ceilings and torn carpets, dated electronics, and the wetroom shower soaked the entire bathroom despite best efforts. And don't expect to sleep past 6am with the noise in the courtyard!
