Relatively cheap motel (for San Francisco) in a quiet part of town, close to the marina. The room was OK, spacious and clean.
The included breakfast was a joke. I think the hotel is in need of a renovation. For example, there was a half an inch gap between the bottom part of the door and the frame. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, but often times they we're unreachable. Beware, I received multiple scam messages from them on my booking account after I made the reservation.

Breakfast was very simple, and easy; help yourself to cereal and toast. Only a bench to sit at.
The elevator didnt work. We were told maintenance were coming tomorrow3 days later it still wasnt working, and looked to have been out of order for quite some time.
WIFI was very poor, barely worked outside the motel let alone inside the room

Staff were unfriendly and did weird things, like ask to clean our room then the only cleaning they did was remove the towels and not replace them! had to hunt them down to get new ones.
Also reception was closed at 12am when we arrived called and rang bells for 45 minutes before someone answered then they didnt even speak to us just said ID and gave us a key!
I had messaged them twice through booking.com to ask if their reception would be open and no one replied either time so if youre wondering, its not 24hr.
Power point in the bathroom didnt work hair dryer attached to the wall so couldnt be used in another power point.
Walls paper thin can hear everything from inside the other rooms and from the street and hallways.
Also got a message a month out saying there was a problem with my credit card which considering I paid up front I thought was odd, turns out they were hacked apparently so beware of messages you get about your booking asking for payment details to be updated.

The breakfast place is too small. Go right on the beginning otherwise there will be no place for you to eat. They serve only toast, butter, jam, juices, coffee and oatmeal.

The location was great. The free parking made all the difference and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom with the old-style pink tile was very classically Route 66. Having a fridge and microwave was handy.
Its an older property. While it was very clean, there were definitely small parts of the room that seemed tiredareas on the walls need touch up, small rip in the comforter, etc. Nothing that felt icky but if youre used to the Hilton this is not it.

First of all, I understand that it is not a hotel its "MOTEL" , but why is this price so expensive for this lower-level MOTEL ? I would have accepted all of that if its price was lower, why 127 dollars per night!!! Very expensive The elevator was not working and I carried my luggage to the third floor The room has a bad smell Sometimes Wi-Fi works and many times it doesn't work at all Breakfast location is in a restaurant outside the hotel!!! The TV screen was broken There is a telephone in the room, but it does not work. It seems that they do not want any communication with the guest Sleeping pillows are very worn out , very bad and must be replaced. They cause neck pain when sleeping on them The hand sink in the bathroom is clogged The area, especially in the morning, is very noisy from hotel guests, room service workers, and passers-by outside the motel It seems that the hotel service workers do not speak English, so i put the "do not disturb" sign because i do not want anyone to enter my room when i am outside the room, but i find the room services opening my room and cleaning it!!!

Basic breakfast included, however I didnt avail myself of it. Had a really nice retro feel but without feeling old or tatty. Would happily stay again.
The room walls were quite thin, though nothing worse than you would usually find at a motel of this kind. No working elevator, though I had picked this up from other reviews and it didnt bother me.

Elevator out of service still. Had seen reviews that it was out of service in Jan 2024, still not fixed and given story that techs were coming in next few days. My 76 year old father had to climb 2 flights of stairs every time we went out, and we had booked for 3nights. Staff only come into reception once you are at the main desk. Breakfast was very very basic. Towels not in room on check in and not replaced when housekeeping done. Blown light bulb in bathroom for duration of stay.

Location was nice even though it was far from Moscone (which was my main point of interest during this trip). The room was big enough for the price and the shower was nice.
Cleaning services were not very good (we found someone else's socks in the room). Overall, the stay would have been OK but the front desk staff was very rude and aggressive when handling an error they made on my request to extend my reservation. I asked to check out on Sunday instead of Saturday, they agreed, gave me a price for the extra night, took my credit card information and all but apparently registered it on the wrong day. On Saturday, when I was supposed to check out, they called me and gave me an ultimatum to leave the room in 20 minutes "or else they would report me to booking" (?). After asking repeatedly to stop yelling at me and to show a little respect, I explained I couldn't pack a whole week worth of things in 20 minutes and they threatened even more. After some minutes they realized it was their error and told me it would be difficult for me to find another hotel so they would do their best to accommodate me, but it would be more expensive and probably I would need to change to another room. They asked for my credit card again and finally maintained the original agreement, even apologized for the yelling after I called them out for it. Due to the aggressiveness and rudeness created by a mistake that was not my fault at all, the stay left a very sour taste for me, and I will definitely not be coming back. Even if the result was that I could stay the extra night I needed and no matter what reasons there could be for someone's attitude, I will not accept anyone to yell at me or threaten me or treat me like I'm a felon that has to run away from a place, especially when I did nothing wrong.

Location is great. Close to the Fisherman's wharf and to the Golden Gate.
The facility is old but clean and well maintained.
There's lots of parking and it is spacious.
Neighborhood appears safe and quiet, but it's San Francisco so take extra measures and don't leave any valuables in your car. Make sure it is locked properly.
There's a free breakfast but opens at 8:30am. In our last day, we have to leave early in order for us not to catch the traffic. Would be nice and helpful if the breakfast bar would open atleast 7am.
There's no staff after 10pm until 8:30am.

Breakfast substandard bare bones considering quality of motel, at least add a waffle maker and wheat toast, at a minimum. I ate out 3 of the 5 mornings.

Nice staff, good location. Rooms were clean but a bit smelly. You get what you pay for. Free parking and a lot of space.
The fridge was incredibly loud. Old bathroom, not super clean but acceptable. Batteries of the safe were empty.

the spot was perfect - near to the sea. A super market was very close (a safeway). very clean and comfy rooms. The people at the rception very kind. bus stops very close to the hotel (usually bus 45)

Do not stay at this hotel. This property is not save. We stayed at this hotel during 30th APR - 1st May 24. there was somebody broked the window room and unlock the door and steal all of the bags and all the valuable stuffs. This was happened while we were sleeping in the early morning. The hotel staff or owner was not helpful at all. We lost all the money, credit cards, and car key but were were fired out and they asked to pay additional fee if we want to wait for our friend to pick us up from Los Angeles which we have to stay there for 7-8 hrs more. We asling the property to check the camera but they did't allow. This hotel is not safe at all. They didn't even notify is us about this since the property is ALLOW ramdom people to get in. They only just told us not to keep belongings insode the car. All the other room windows also got window cracked. Please think twice if you wanna stay in this hotel.

Room was clean. Fairly close to wharf area. Good value for the area. Pictures are accurate. On-site parking is a huge plus.
Room smelled very musty. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows very small. Breakfast was a joke (white bread for toast-the cheapest you can buy, 4 types of cereal, coffee, and either apple or orange juice). The utensils were so cheap that when you tried to spread butter the plastic knife would bend. Fresh fruit and yogurt would have been a nice add. But I suppose for the price you get what you pay for.

Motel Capri was excellent in all respects. The location was convenient for walking to many attractions & local restaurants. It was also very clean.
There was street noise that kept my husband awake but didn't bother me. This was a con expected for being in such a convenient location.

Probably one of the better facilities we stayed at during our trip to USA. Close to plenty of restaurants. Not far from Big Bus stop on Lombard Rd.

Location was great in a nice neighborhood with nice restaurants and cafe and good bus transportation to Golden Gate Bridge and Fishermans Warf/Pier 39
The bed wasnt really comfortable and the Interieur is quite old
